Leia rolled her eyes at him.
"Heh? No. And it was enjoyable despite being heartbreaking. You just need to understand it better."
Lucius raised a brow at her and asked, "Really?"
"Of course."
"I don't think so. You should come to me more often. I'll recommend many enjoyable books to you. I have a lot of collections." His smile widened.
She looked around the library and shrugged. "I can see that."
And the silence fell between them again.
She was thinking to herself, wondering just how they were having a normal conversation like a father and daughter. This was something she'd never expected would happen, not even during her last breath. It was as if everything had always been fine between them, which wasn't true at all. And not to mention him constantly looking and smiling at her with so much warmth—something she'd only ever seen in him now.
