While Tao Liu was busy trying to get into the sect's inventory, two guards from the Heavenly Sword Sect were walking around on patrol. They were talking as they got close to where Tao Liu had taken care of five other guards earlier.

"This has got to be my worst night ever since I started guarding for the Heavenly Sword Sect," the first guard said, trying to hold back a yawn because he was so tired.

"Yeah, I feel the same. It's probably the worst night for me too. I hope they catch the bad guy tonight, or even better, that he gets taken down. That way we can finally relax and not have to be on high alert like this," the second guard said, agreeing with the first guard.

"Of course, he's going to get caught tonight. Who does he think he is, Tao Liu? I don't think anyone can get away when all the sects from Azurewind City are after them. Not even Tao Liu could handle that," the first guard said, very sure of himself.
