He Juan had become so accustomed to people fearing him that the first thought crossing his mind upon finding the Omega frozen in place was: Ah, he is afraid of me.

Thus he made a conscious effort to appear as unthreatening as possible. Nonetheless, the Omega remained immobilized as though he found it hard to believe that He Juan wouldn't lunge at him, leaving him utterly helpless. 

Was he really that scary, or was it the weak mentality of the current generation? Even Mu Yuze still had dared to hang around him after witnessing him gouge out someone's eyeballs. 

He Juan quickly shook his head once he caught his thoughts wandering to his mate again. He should stop comparing every Omega he met to Mu Yuze. He already knew that his little mate was the best – the bravest, smartest, prettiest – and no one could ever come close to the tip of his fingers. 

Or perhaps it was just him who was being too biased.
