The place they were headed to was deeper inside, where the more powerful Bronze Core monsters could be found at. Lyle didn't usually go that deep and would usually stay where the monsters were not that powerful to be able to hunt more of them quickly and gain soul power right away.

It might not be that good for Adam and the rest, as they would gain more value from fighting a powerful opponent and their skills would improve that way faster, but Lyle could not wait for them to improve their skills slowly, and luckily he didn't need to as they were gaining mastery over things faster compared to normal people.

Thanks to their connection, Lyle was certain that even without having them train a lot, they would gain more and more mastery over certain things simply because of the connection they had with him. Thanks to all of that, Lyle preferred killing weaker monsters to quickly improve his soul power and get to the Silver Knight realm.
