As we stood near the exit waiting for Yang to practice his voice, I couldn't help but be amused by the extent of his ability. Even when he clears his throat he sounds like a proper kobold. Wasn't this one of those perfect tools for hunting? I'm sure being able to communicate like that is every hunter's wet dream.
"Alright I'm confident in doing this now, are you guys ready? " Yang looks at us with conviction. It was obvious he was nervous with his forehead, dripping sweat, but he was also focused.
" Alright, in the count of 5 Yang will scream out loud. Then immediately after, Lin will pull you with his flexible arms, then Kate will activate her sneak eye and lead the way. Just make sure you copy her exact movements, and we'll escape from here. " I repeat the plan and step we would take yet again as a final reminder to everyone here.
Lin and Kate were members of Rena's faction and was someone who was with us as well.
" Ok, buckle up everyone I'll start the countdown. Eat up your nervousness away as this will be your time to escape this place and grab that representative position. " I say trying to motivate them to do well.

" Shit why am I so nervous " Lin whispers silently.
" Dude, all your doing is pulling Yang. It's not like you're Kate trying to help us escape. "
" Shut up, what are you even doing? Running and following? So fucking hard man. "

" Ka… KRRRR!! " Yang shouts with an ear-piercing cry, alerting not only the kobolds guarding us but also almost every single one of them on every floor next to us.
Immediately after, Lin managed to grab him without any delay perfectly executing the plan I had formed.
" Krr?! "
" Kate! " I say out loud hinting at the perfect timing for Kate to move, as she seemed nervous to start at all.
" Oh shi… On my way! " Kate managed to snap out of her nervousness as she shouts trying to signify her cue.
We were trying to rush, but also maintain being unnoticed by the kobolds. That's why having Kate who had the ability to see the best path for escaping vision with her hawk eye.
" Wait, I see some kobolds trying to head down. Seems like they're from two floors up and they somehow managed to hear the scream as well. " Yang noticed a few kobolds descending the stairs on our far right. They had their weapons brandished with a green goo even dripping from the tips of their spear.
" Be quiet, it looks like their weapons are poisoned. Let's let them pass and we can continue walking. " Lin suggests calming down most of the team, as they seemed ready to run the moment they were nearing us.
" Krr! "
Wait… I hinted to them with my arms, as we all keep our vision on them trying to see whether we should run or attack depending on what they do.
" Krr…"
But thankfully enough, they didn't seem to notice us nor anyone around of that matter with their attention fully on the source of where the scream originated.
" Whew… " You could hear the signs of relief in everyone's voices the moment the kobolds walked past us.
But it seems like that was short-lived, as just a few seconds after, a noise so ignorable, echoed in our ears like it was the loudest sound ever created by anyone.

A stone?
Did someone trip? Did it fall from the floor above due to the many holes in this old building?
We tried to comprehend and analyze the source of the sound, but it seems like we didn't even have to as the main reason and suspect the stone stood from where we came from.
" Fuck you, you bastards. " The man from Reign's side who was fighting everyone stood at the very entrance of the food storage with some stones in his hands.

" Krr… " With the sudden thud of the stone, the rallying kobolds turned their heads toward the direction of the sound. And as what the guy who threw the stone was expecting, the kobolds brandished their spears as they lock eyes with ours.
" This mother fucker… " Yang couldn't help but clench his fist the moment he realized what had just happened.
" I should've planted that guy's head in the ground when I had the chance. "
" Krrr!!! "
" Shit! Prepare to engage! " Lin who has been nervous since the start of the mission didn't seem so cowardly now. He shouts trying to calm down the team, as if he was preparing for a moment like this amidst his nervousness.
" HAHAHA! What the fuck now Wanderer? You bastard. You dare to do that to me huh?! The young master of the Groll Guild?! " As if he was crazed, he suddenly threw a fit the moment he felt safe behind those kobolds.

" Shit on out right! " The team who only had one goal, panicked with the sudden emergence of something unexpected. They all had the skill and strength to handle the kobolds, being a part of the second-strongest class in Sense, but the number of kobolds, about tripling our total number caused the others to panic.
" Agh! Don't get hit by that green thing whatever you do! One hit by that and we'll be sent back to base! "

" That's what you deserve you bastards! Say hi to Sense for me, and warm my bed while you're at it. " He laugh hysterically, finding the chaos he started to be quite amusing.
" The Groll guild huh? " I say while trying to fend off and dodge the incoming flurry of the kobolds attacking me.
" What scared now bitch?! " He continues to laugh, even increasing its intensity the moment I ask about his guild.
" No, just trying to find which family will be missing a young master soon. " I say with a smirk.
" You think I'll let some bastards hear about my plan without thinking about it? For a young master, you don't seem to be too bright… "
" Uhh Mon, I don't think this is the best time to talk shit. " Kate who was fending off the kobolds surrounding us.
There were around 20 of them so each of us had to face multiple kobolds while inside their own house.
" You see the choices you had were to either fail as kobold food with about two hours of survival time or fail as kobold food, with only 5 minutes of survival time. " I say completely ignoring the struggling Kate beside me.
" Mon watch out! " Lin screams trying to warn me of the rushing kobold trying to stab me in the back.
Seems like every kobold is within my range now…

" And it seems like you've made your choice. " I say as I grab the spear of the stunned kobold, and stabbed its head with its own weapon.
And as most kobolds were stunned, everyone managed to kill their own without any major injuries.
And with that, my ability runs dry as my mana reserves were completely drained.
Only one kobold was left alive who was the farthest away from everyone managing to escape their grasp. Yang started to chase it though, trying to kill it himself.
" Stop," I say out loud, causing Yang to stop.
" Wait a few seconds. " I say, confusing the team with my reason.
" What? Why? He's going to call for help! "
" K…. Krr!!! " As if it heard Yang, the remaining kobolds started to scream alerting almost every kobold nearby.
But as it did so, I threw a spear towards it, piercing its head and causing it to collapse on the ground.
Everyone looked at me like I'm crazy, trying to figure out the reason for my actions this time around.
Why would you ask us to stop killing it, but then kills it anyways after calling for back up? Does he have a death wish? That was probably what they were thinking. No one voiced out though, as they were experience with how I work.
" Alright Lin, grab one of these bodies and leave it towards our lovely friend over there. " I say as I point towards the " young master of the Groll family ".
And as if everyone realized what I was trying to do, a wide grin formed on everyone's mouth.
" You better fucking run bastards, the whole army is coming for you! He says while brandishing the fact that the kobold managed to call for reinforcements.
" Wai- What are you doing you crazy bastard! " He looked at Lin who was carrying a few kobold bodies in his hands extending them towards him.
Lin didn't even look at him only placing the bodies in front of the storage with a big grin.
" Are you crazy!? " He panicked causing him to grab the bodies and try to place them away from the storage only for the kobolds to see him doing so.
" K… "
" Seems like the whole army caught you red-handed. " I say as I watch him nervously place down the kobold's body.
