Capítulo 29: Everything?

The torture continued for quite a while, making Cole almost tear up on the spot. His fingers curled up to form a fist as he endured the twisting of his heart and forced himself to watch the entire scene.

Look at that guy!

He finally got the justice he deserved for brutally murdering him.

Cole finally got his revenge!

But he wasn't in the mood to laugh. He lowered his head and took deep breaths to control his complicated emotions.

At this point, if he didn't admit what was in his heart to himself, he would be a fool. He actually ended up falling in love with his killer.

But so what? The fact that Oliver killed him couldn't be changed.

Cole closed his eyes after that. But Oliver's body filled with blood even after closing his eyes, and the thick stench engulfing his nose couldn't be changed. His heart was almost on the verge of burning when he heard the whipping stop.

He didn't dare to open his eyes and see.

He didn't.

He was a coward, and he could see it now.
