Draven quickly went to grab a common rank beast material and finally chose a tusk from an elephant beast. With its thickness and height, it wouldn't be surprising it would end up a huge double-handed sword.

Although Draven could have melted them all with Ice Blue Flame without a problem, and then placed the lava to an object that would shape the weapon he desired, he wanted to heat it and then shape it.

It was much faster and convenient. However, the problem relied on shaping it. After all, with such a thick material, he would need to smite it a thousand times while maintaining an extreme focus and precision. 

He needed to be careful of the amount of strength he would bring to avoid over shaping the weapon, which might result in a failure. Lightly smiting was not good either since by the time the heat cools down, yet he has still not shaped it to the right shape, then it would also result in a failure.
