"What deal?" Hazel crooked her eyebrows and watched the man sitting right in front of her, giving him a thoughtful look.

Hazel had no speculation of what he could say, so she clenched her fist slowly on the table, expectantly waiting for what would fall from his lips.

"If you want me to keep your clan members safe here, you have to steal the alpha's belongings."

"What?" Hazel's mouth fell open, her eyes wide also as she leaned back to the chair she was sitting in before looking at every corner of the pavilion trying to check if someone was eavesdropping, when she saw no one was, she leaned towards him, "Beta Ethan, why would you say that?"

"And why would you refuse to escape from Greensville when your life is clearly in danger, prisoner?" His voice heightened to its regular hoarseness, "Do you agree or not? Or are you ready for their necks to be twisted most uncomfortably?"
