Capítulo 58: 58 – Captive

I teleported with Szur to the base the next day.

"Welcome home, my lord." Garthur, with my other subordinates on standby at the base, paid their respects. "Madam Phisovia has calmed down again after getting the blood from Xenora."

I looked at them and frowned. "Where's Xenora?"

"She is with the captive."

Faintly I heard screams accompanied by something similar to the sounds of slashing. So, I walked towards the sound, signaling the others not to follow me. I only invited Szur to come along.

After passing through the cave passage that descended a few yards, we arrived at a room with two large cells.

I found a shirtless man facing the wall in one of those cells. His hands were chained, and his back was covered in red slashes.

"Tell me who gave you orders!" Xenora whipped the prisoner's back, inflicting fresh wounds on the man. "Where did you guys get that poison!!??"

Getting no response, Xenora whipped the person again. "Answer me!!!"
