[ POV Change ]
[ Dreamland array - Beach ]
As the sun began to set over the horizon, the sky was painted in hues of orange, pink, and purple. The sound of the waves crashing against the shore filled the air, creating a peaceful and calming atmosphere. The beach is dotted with tall palm trees and other lush foliage, their leaves rustling gently in the breeze.
As the night begins to fall, the sand takes on a golden glow from the light of the full twin moons.
Lin Lai gritted her teeth as she gazed upon Hu Li who stood atop the sand of the beach, the metallic orb clutched firmly in his hand. He took a deep breath and focused his spiritual Qi, his muscles tensing as he prepared to strike. With a fierce cry, he brought his hand down, crushing the orb between his palm.
There was a loud crunching sound as the orb shattered, shards of metal flying in every direction. Hu Li's hand glowed with a bright, otherworldly light as he reached out and pulled the pieces of the orb towards him, shaping them with his mind and his will.
Slowly but surely, the shards began to fuse, taking on the form of a long, slender sword. The blade shone with a fierce, golden light, and as Hu Li held it aloft, it seemed to pulse with energy.
" Hey, now let's not do something we'll regret later." Lin Lai exclaimed as she gazed upon Hu Li who saw through her words and answered back.
" I know that you are the one who killed my sister !" Hu Li shouted out as he pointed his sword toward Lin Lai as she cowered before him. His sister's death at her hands weighed heavily on his mind, and he was determined to see justice served.
"Please, Hu Li," Lin Lai begged, tears streaming down her face. "I didn't mean to kill your sister. It was an accident."
"An accident?" Hu Li spat out, his voice dripping with disgust. "You murdered her in cold blood, and now you expect me to believe it was an accident?"
Lin Lai shook her head frantically. "It's the truth, I swear it. If it wasn't for this prison forcing us all into the death game. Do you know how all of us are victims of the system that has labeled us as villains? Why would I take her life if I wasn't forced into it? I'm so sorry. . I'll do anything to make amends for what I've done."
Hu Li wavered, his sword still trained on Lin Lai as he struggled with his emotions. He wanted nothing more than to see her pay for what she had done, but something in her words and pleading gaze made him hesitate.
Lin Lai stood before Hu Li, tears streaming down her face as she begged for his mercy. "Please, Hu Li," she pleaded. "I know I can't bring your sister back, but I can be there for you. I can love you and support you, just like she did. Please, give me a chance to make things right. I'll do anything to make amends for what I've done."
Hu Li's grip on his gun wavered as he struggled with his emotions. He wanted nothing more than to see Lin Lai pay for what she had done, but something in her words and pleading gaze made him hesitate.
Lin Lai saw her opportunity and seized it. She stepped closer to Hu Li, her eyes locked on his as she whispered, "I know I can't replace your sister, but I can be there for you. I can love you and support you, just like she did. Please, Hu Li, give me a chance to make things right. I'll do anything to earn your forgiveness and your love."
Hu Li's resolve crumbled as he saw Lin Lai exposing her chest as she exclaimed in a slut like voice.
" Don't you want to get the love of big sister ?"
Hu Li felt a wave of anger engulf him as he pointed his sword at Lin Lai who now had a look of absolute calm on her face.
" You never have been in battle, have you ?" Lin Lai questioned as she turned around and walked toward Zhongli's unconscious body.
" Don't move !" Hu Li ordered as Lin Lai glanced at him.
" Hey cutie, Let big sister teach you a lesson. Never give a cultivator time to recover." Lin Lai exclaimed as a burst of flame engulfed her.
As she concentrated, her body began to glow with a fierce, golden light. The air around her crackled with spiritual Qi as her transformation began. Her skin stretched and pulled, taking on a fiery red hue as nine flaming tails sprouted from her back. Her ears elongated into sharp points, and her nose and mouth elongated into a snout.
As the transformation was completed, Lin Lai opened her eyes, revealing pupils that glowed with a fierce, golden light. She was now a humanoid flaming fox, her body crackling with energy and power. She raised her arms to the sky and let out a triumphant roar, her nine tails swirling around her like flames.
She was unstoppable, a being of pure power and strength. And with a fierce determination in her heart, she set out to conquer the world, leaving a trail of fire and destruction in her wake.
Lin Lai threw Zhongli over her shoulder and she stood on the beach, her eyes glowing with a fierce, golden light as she summoned all of her power and will. With a fierce cry, she threw her hands out, jets of flames shooting out from her palms and propelling her into the sky.
Hu Li watched in horror as Lin Lai soared into the air, a being of pure power and destruction. He knew he had to stop her, no matter the cost. With a fierce determination in his heart, he reached for his sword and hurled it toward Lin Lai, hoping to impale her and bring her down.
But Lin Lai was too quick. With a flick of her wrist, she sent a ball of fire hurtling toward the sword, melting it into a puddle of molten metal before it could reach her.
"You can't stop me," she cackled, her voice dripping with malice. "I am a force to be reckoned with, and no one can stand in my way."
With that, she unleashed a torrent of flames upon the beach, engulfing it in a sea of fire and destruction. Hu Li watched in horror as the inferno raged on, consuming everything in its path. There was nothing he could do but stand and watch as his world was consumed by the flames, leaving Hu Li standing alone on the beach consumed by flames with nothing but the sound of the waves crashing against the shore for company.
