Perdita shifted in her seating position and cleared her throat. She didn't want to think in depth about the meaning behind Sthena's words.
Was she going to stay with him in the future? And did that future start now?
Sthena oblivious to what Perdita was thinking continued to explain, "Vampire wines are stronger than normal wine that the humans drink and that is why I gave you a glass since you are just waking up. And not to add, you have been unconscious for a long time."
He paused and stared all over her face and asked, "How are you feeling now?"
Perdita cleared her throat again still thinking of what Sthena had hinted in his words. She didn't even listen to his explanations of vampire wines.
"I feel a slight headache and a little bit of dizziness. Aside from these, I'm doing good." Her reply brought back the memories she had forgotten for the small moment of Sthena's distraction.
