Capítulo 221: Shock

Evelyn didn't know why but even the walk inside the Royal Palace to the Royal chambers felt very weird. She felt goosebumps rising on her body as she saw so many maids, servants, and guards in every corridor.

The last time when she stepped inside Royal Palace, she was certain that there were not so many people in Royal Palace back then…or perhaps she didn't remember clearly.

Still, an eerie feeling continued to surround her heart.

A maid was leading them to the Royal chambers.

Evelyn felt more guarded when they reached the Royal chambers. The guards standing outside the Royal chambers were not the same.

Or did they change duty according to day or night? But she remembered that last time, she was here in the morning only.

"We have been called by His Majesty."

Isla said to the guards who looked at Evelyn and nodded their heads, allowing her inside.

"My Lady…"
