Capítulo 212: The Excuse

Evelyn nodded her head after she understood Regan's intentions. A moment later, she said suddenly

"I will go to my room, Your Highness, and practice the words Your Highness taught me."

Regan could tell very well that she was doing this to avoid coming across Arthur. But he didn't expose her. He in fact didn't find any need for her to meet Arthur.

He looked at her with a smile and said in almost a whisper

"I am waiting for the time when you will be comfortable enough to call me by my name."

Evelyn stiffened slightly at these words making Regan sigh.

He had actually asked her to call him by his name before as well but she always had this uncomfortable expression on her face and went stiff completely whenever he brought up this matter.

He knew that it was the training she received as a slave which was ingrained in her mind. It stopped her from crossing some boundaries sometimes which were not even needed between them.

But he needed to wait patiently.
