May and Bentley were not happy with Evelyn's answer. On the other hand, Gianna and Cooper looked ready to leave once they heard that Evelyn wanted to come along with them.

Gianna thought that things were in her favor.

She could understand the child's mind.

If it was before then she would have been afraid that Evelyn would refuse but since she knew what happened in the past few moments so she had been sure that Evelyn would say 'yes'.
