Capítulo 154: Her Warning

"Promise me one thing." Her voice carried a mixture of curiosity and a touch of vulnerability.

Adrasteia flashed a mischievous grin, her eyes twinkling with playfulness. "Anything for Mi'lady," she sweetly replied. "Come on, quickly. Tell me what it is. Maria might come any minute."

Alicia hesitated for a moment, her eyes searching Adrasteia's for assurance. "Okay, okay. Promise me, you'll add only a little," she finally said, her tone cautious yet filled with a sense of curiosity.

"Don't you worry. I'll do it just the way you'd like it, but first let's get you hair done," Adrasteia promised and started to do her hair with a confident smile playing on her lips but turned around the vanity chair, facing Alicia to her side before anything.

Alicia, now facing away from the mirror, voiced her concern, "Your Highness, what are you doing? How am I supposed to see myself if you were to turn me away from the mirror?"
