Capítulo 62: I'm not a kid

Things went well after that night. Lyre's brothers didn't come for him, and his new family treated him with so much love, it made him almost forget there was a time he wasn't treated in such a way.

Lyre's learning progressed well, he had a taskmaster who was bent on making him learn.

Not that he was complaining, but.....

"How is my baby this morning?" Rain kissed Lyre's forehead. "It's time to wake up, beauty. We have an exam."

Lyre groaned but didn't wake. He only turned and continued to sleep.

"If you don't wake up now, I'm going to call Clar in here." Rain threatened. "Should I do that, love?" He chuckled, imagining how loud Clar will be.

"Please, let me sleep for a minute." Lyre turned his back to Rain and resumed sleeping.

"Come on, it's time for school." Rain removed Lyre's blanket.

"I hate school! Don't wake me, I don't want to go to school." Lyre groaned.

Rain smirked, "Then, I'm going. I bet Chels will be there."
