Capítulo 54: Sight seeing
"Ok time to go! We have to head straight to the pokemon center and wait for further instructions." Gary said moving along.
"What?? Can't we look around a little??" Chloe asked disappointed
Both Kenzo and I were also disappointed but we didn't say anything, We were here for only one thing after all.
"No- It's a big city and you could get lost." Gary explained but Chloe wouldn't take no for an answer.
"Pleeeeease." She begged.
"No"
"Pleeeeease?"
"No" Gary held his eyebrows in frustration.
"Pleeeeeeeeeeeeease!"
Ok…I'm gonna save you all the details, we got to look around!
Which was fun.
The flashing lights, the music that echoed the streets..It was all a completely different experience for us and we enjoyed every bit of it.
"Oh! Oh!" Chloe wrapped her arms around mine in excitement and started pointing at an Ice Cream stand with a decently long line.
"Let's go get some!" She dragged me along with her, her hands still wrapped around mine.
Kenzo just smiled and followed us.

"Welcome to Castelia city kids!" The kind man said as he handed the three of us the Icecream we paid for.
"Never seen so many people in one place before…" Kenzo commented as we continued walking looking for our next stop.
"Yeah..same- '' I agreed, still licking away at my Ice Cream.
I then had an idea and threw out two pokeballs allowing Charmeleon and Kabuto to join us in the sight seeing.
Kenzo did the same for Oshawott and just like us they were amazed by what they were seeing.
"I heard there was a gym here-" I said to Chloe.
Chloe rolled her eyes.
"Is that all you think about?" She asked and I just shrugged.
"What can I say, It's fun." I said with a grin.
Toxel wiggled out of Chloe's arms and went to have fun with the other pokemon up ahead.
"Hey! You guys wanna check out the Gym? It's not too far from here-" Kenzo shouted from up ahead with the other pokemon.
"Of course!"
Chloe facepalmed as the two of us ran up ahead.
"Great…they think the same-"

"Huh-...It's closed."
We stopped by the Gym door but it wasn't opening.
"Maybe they'll be back soon?" Kenzo questioned while scratching his head in confusion.
"Oh no- that's such a shame." The sarcasm radiating off her skin-
"Anyway, let's check out some other places."
She walked off ahead but we kept talking.
"Want us to battle then?" Kenzo asked.
"Hell yeah!" I said excitedly.
Chloe, overhearing her facepalms again.
"I saw a good spot right above Castelia City sewers. We could battle there-" Kenzo suggested as we walked off leaving Chloe behind.
"I'm so hyped!"

"So first to land an attack wins?" Kenzo asked as we got ready.
"Sure." I agreed.
Kenzo and I got into battle positions.
Zorua and Oshawott stared each other down intently, waiting on our commands to start the battle.
"Zorua, use Shadow Ball!"
Zorua Shot a ball made of shadow aiming directly for Oshawott!
"Oshawott, use razor shell!"
Oshawott used its precise attack to slice the shadow ball in half!
"Now once more! Use Razor shell!"
Oshawott charged at Zorua wielding its blade.
"Dodge it!"
Zorua dodged the attack.
"Now quick! Use Shadowball!"
Without hesitation Zorua blasted Oshawott with its Shadowball attack.
Without time to dodge, Oshawott was hit directly and that was the end of it.
"Good job Zorua!" I gave my buddy a little high five as Oshawott ran back to his trainer.
"They with you?" A girl with tanned skin and long dark purple hair sat next to Chloe as she watched us go battle after battle.
Chloe nodded.
"They've been at it for a while-"
"Wait…." Chloe said as she turned to the girl with the tanned skin.
"You're a baby-"
Chloe said as she looked at a girl who seemed to be 3-5
"Who are you calling baby??" She puts her hands on her hips to show some form of dominance but it wasn't working.
"I am Iris! Dragon master!"
The little girl puffed out her chest in pride but Chloe just laughed.
"Who are you laughing at?"
Iris demanded to know but Chloe couldn't hear her over her own laughing.
Me and Kenzo noticed this and went over to them.
"Who's this?" I asked stooping down to her level.
"I'm Iris! Dragon master!" She repeated her introduction.
Me and Kenzo looked at eachother then back at the child who seemed really confident about their abilities.
"There you are…" An old man with a beard covering his mouth like a mask picked up Iris from the ground.
"Sorry about her..she likes to wander off." He apologized.
I nodded. "Yeah. It's no problem." I smiled.
His white beard looked almost as if it were upside down on his face.
The man goes to leave.
"Hey wait-" I called out to him.
He stopped and turned to me with a face of curiosity and confusion.
"Are you…by chance the gymleader for this city-" I asked.
The man smiled…at least I think he did.
"No i'm the 8th gymleader of the Unova region."
"The person you're looking for is named Burgh but he's dealing with urgent matters right now."
I sighed. I was a little bummed out, and Kenzo looked like he shared my feelings.
"Ok then."
"Anytime." He cheerfully said as he walked away.
