Capítulo 32: chapter 32: Manchester derby and transfer window

"Look here I have two really important missions for you, it would be trying to convince Jude Bellingham and Joshua Kimmich to join us in the summer, if you can help convince them to move to the club irrespective of how you do it, I promise that your end of the year bonus would be doubled and I will let the fans know who made those deals possible". (Isaac)

"Okay , sir. I'm using this medium to make a promise here and now that I will put my all in convincing them both to come to the club". (David Phillips head of recruitment and transfers)

"Okay, that's all for now, you can withdraw let me watch the match in peace". (Isaac)

Looking down into the match, I realized.that the match has gotten to the 56th minute and the opposition seems to have gotten some lifeline after lisandro Martinez had to leave the match due to a knock and they seems hell bent on making the players pay for looking down on them.

The head coach has Garnacho and Antony on the touchline beside him as he seems to make tweaks to the current quo status by bringing on impactful wingers to force their back line deeper and provide more space for our defenders to build up play.

The match went on in a back and forth manner even after martial and Sancho were subbed off for Garnacho and Antony, even Bruno Fernandes was forced deeper to help the build up and that is affecting the play with no one really good at holding up play upfront.

Then the head coach decided it was finally time to bring in the new midfielder from Bayern Munich in for Mctominay to play a sort of frontcourt pivot and use his skills to attract defenders, the game came back on track after the substitution and in the 88th minute Rashford touched in a whipped in cross from Garnacho.

The players went into the tunnel after winning the opposition 2 to nil and were talking and screaming at each other about what who could have done better in different moments of the game, which is something we encourage very much at the club for an open interaction.

The team had a new face in person of Victor Boniface during their next game and were seemingly in a great mood if we go about the way they seemed to make their opposition suffer, but after the match against Charlton in the fa cup where they won 6-0 after beating Everton 4-1 in the game before, the team seemed to be in a down mood inexplicably because of the next derby game.

The team seemed to have just as much decompressing meetings as much as they had training to the match, some players were still remembering the rout that happened in the first leg and some seems depressed and some seems overly responsible, which is a bad thing as well.

A new shockwave landed in the football world after it was declared that Mr. Isaac who happens to be the sole owner of Manchester United have acquired 48% of benfica just enough to remain a minority share holder for a price of around 1.3 billion pounds with about 600 million dollars there going into repaying their debts when acquired improving their facilities.

The two clubs are said to be planning on exchanging data and information to allow for a joint development.

And the next day it was announced that Enzo Fernandez is purchased by Manchester United for a price of $75 million after an offer of $80 million plus $15 million was rejected from chelsea for the same player.

The players were roused by the news and the psychologists were able to use the news to cheer them up that while the club owners are doing their best to make the team a top level one what are they doing for that to happen.

It all got to a heads till when the bald man from the neighboring team claed to have a special plan to curb our players ability to dictate the game tempo and that they plan to have us dance to their tune through out the game.

Our bald man was quick to react as well by referring to his earlier quote when he said eras come to an end and that Manchester City are not as special as they seem to make people belief and that we would show them why the Old Trafford is known as The theatre of Dreams.

The war of words kept up until the pre match game conference where both teams named their line up with both teams not missing a lot of players.

Man City lined up with a new tactics of 3-2-4-1 with

Ederson

[Akanji. Dias. Ake]

[Stones. Rodri]

[Silva. De bruyne. Gundogan. Grealish]

[Haaland]

While man Utd line up this with a 4-3-1-2 format

De gea

Dalot. Skrinar. Shaw. Malacia

Gravenberch. Casemiro. Fred

Bruno

Sancho. Rashford

With the release of the line up, the pressure got to a crazy level with the whole of Manchester being swept up by the storm about to kick off.

During the players warm up, the players were training with smiles on their face and even the new signings were already fully indoctrinated with Boniface already becoming something of a menace in the dressing room with his teases and jokes. Some really good players were on the bench with new signing Enzo, frimpong, Boniface, Garnacho, Heaton, Antony, Maguire, Scott and Martial in the bench.

After sometime all the players were in the dugout and the well awaited Manchester derby is about to kick off at the old Trafford stadium.
