Carter did her best to straighten up as Bremerton gave her the rundown. Apparently part of her punishment was getting a lecture from 3rd Fleet’s Head of Submarine Operations. And now that she was released from quarantine, Bremerton took the opportunity to corner her outside. Carter mostly tuned it out. She knew concealing her condition was wrong but she did not regret it. Nor would she. Hearing a lull in Bremerton’s rant, she turned her attentions back to her superior. “You finished?” She asked. “You know your attitude is not helping your case.” Bremerton growled. “I have half a mind to decommission you.” Despite the threat, Carter simply leveled her green gaze on her. “Go on then.” She said. Bremerton huffed. “You are impossible!” She exclaimed and stormed off. “Hmph, guess it was an empty threat.” Carter shrugged, chuckling to herself.
