Sammy B took her job very seriously. Yes, she was a prankster. Yes, she could irritate even the most Buddha like of ships without even trying but when it came down to business one couldn't ask for a more reliable ship. That’s why, when Fitzgerald had asked her to watch Traeger and report any changes to her and Arleigh immediately, the frigate practically glued herself to Traeger’s side. The destroyer, if she had an issue with Sammy B’s near coddling, she didn’t say anything. Any complaint would be moot anyways. Again due to that reliability. At the moment, Traeger was resting. But not peacefully. Nothing was peaceful anymore. The wound in her side made it impossible to get proper rest. Her only relief came with a combination of powerful drugs and cumulative exhaustion. When this occurred, Sammy B would curl around her, rubbing her down and pressing every pressure point she could find hoping that one of them will would ease her pain long enough to keep her asleep.
