Capítulo 39: Chapter 39: North and South Unite

The sight is breathtaking and powerful as the thirty shifters march toward the village. The cheers quietly stop as the Northern Shifters file into the street. Selene would imagine such a site would be intimidating to those who don’t know these shifters. Her grandfather leads the group, followed by her brothers, Derek and Mark -- formally known as Marcus. Sparrow is standing between her mates and walks along with her head held high.

Looking over the group, she also finds Rue standing just behind her brothers. Selene can’t help but squeal inside knowing her Gram’s oldest friend made the journey south for her.

“Today marks a great event for the South,” Onyx announces in his Alpha tone. “We welcome and accept the Alpha of the Northern Lands into our village.”

Lucas steps forward as the crowd bows. Some of the Witches look around confused, but they too bow their heads to show respect.
