The weekend passed in a blur, with Conor waving goodbye to Anna as she drove off to Targu province, and the handover of shares from Jackson’s coming early Monday morning.
First thing Monday morning, Mr. Nuri handed him a packet of papers as they sat in the executive conference room. “Sir, this represents 50% ownership in the local Jackson’s furniture. Now that it is no longer associated with the chain, it would be best for us to change the name as soon as possible. Home Emporium could work.”
“As long as Mr. Matthews is ok with the name, I have no opinion. Do what we can to make sure it remains a separate subsidiary and give Mr. Matthews the control he needs to run the daily operations.”
“Of course, Sir” Liam Nuri replied.
Jarad piped up, “Sir, I do have a report on your current holdings.”
Conor waved for him to continue.
