Capítulo 2: change
*new change thing in brackets () will be being said maybe the author and in future chapters, after this, I will be going third person as it feels weird to write in the first person*

After a few months, they stopped feeding it actual food and instead fed it the waste of bio-experiments after finding out it could eat anything biological and even a couple of things that aren't. hearing the sound of the doors opening the thing looked up to see me holding a bucket full of a red blob that had spots of purple and green. "lucky day today, you got some of the monster growing facility. they tried to mix a plant that could change to site the environment it's in and a monster that could change its body on command, and some genes so it would have a fluid holding both properties that they could harvest to send to the guys down at drug-making. Ha, all they got was a blob of rainbow mush. anyway, eat up ya fucking freak" I threw the blob at it who by now was looking significantly more different from before.
It had two sharp horns coming out of its forehead as well as a long thin tail that had a barb at the end. he had retractable claws instead of nails and his eyes were heterochromatic one being black with a red pupil and the other being a milky white his hair was midnight black with streets of gold and white at the roots which strangely never changed.

after finishing the 'meal' something felt different, instead of the normal pain which I didn't feel at this point I felt a searing pain all over my body from my feet to my head and I even felt it all the way deep into my bones. I started feeling my flesh fall off and grow Back, my bones break, melt and reform just to do it again over and over, felt my nerves grow, multiply, burn out and go back to the start, my blood curdled in my veins as my heart rotted and healed while my intestines melded into one mass of meat and then tear themselves apart while every pain from all my meals came back but one million times worse as a thousand other things happened for what felt like an eternity.
while all this was happening I felt that familiar warmth in the pit of my abdomen. trying to force my mind away from everything else I focused on that warmth and felt that a large part was trying to condense while the rest was spreading over the rest of my body. feeling the pain lessen as this went on I compiled it to go faster and to my surprise it did. doubling down on my efforts I realized something from the outside was flowing into my pores and turning into that warmth so I split my mind into, a trait I got from a test subject a while ago, I focused on pulling that in while also condensing the warmth.

watching as that bastard screamed as its body fell apart and regrew I started laughing as I thought it might finally be dying. I had been trying to get this thing to Croke since I first came here but I wasn't able to beat it up so I just put poison in its food. But the fucking thing just eats it like nothing with its apathetic face as always. it was fun looking at it screaming in pain but I notice something wrong, the mana In the room started flowing into its body, Not just that it was getting faster and faster until it was visible. waves and torrents of mana flooding the room and its body until it started halting to force its way into its body which just tore it apart faster. but it just healed back to normal like always "WE NEED A LOCKDOWN RIGHT THE FUCK NOW!" screaming into the intercom on the wall I ran out and closed the door behind me. seeing the bulwark close and the lights go red I felt a little safer but that feeling didn't last long the flood of mana grew even stronger to the point where I had to fight through it as I moved but it was taking more and more as I went on trying to get away from whatever the hell that thing was doing.

where am I? walking up all I saw was that I was floating in a white space. looking around I realized I wasn't alone further into the space I saw a giant mass of flesh that had no order and was just pure chaos. looking at it for longer I saw some familiar things, parts of stuff I had eaten but deformed and congealed into an amalgamation of meat. after observing it some more I had a thought. can I change what it looks like? so I tried focusing on it I changed its shape to a more human one but all it did was make it messier s went to clean it up but I realized it was taking something from me to change it. the warmth or as I found out, mana, was being consumed to change the form.
being as efficient as possible I got rid of the undesirable parts such as extra lime or organs by pulling them off to the side and storing them just in case. after getting rid of all meat I began the change so it looked more human using a photo of Cain that Alice had shown me sometime before.
forming the body I made it look like him but I changed some things such as keeping my tail from before as well as my horns and eyes as I liked the look and they helped sometimes. starting I made them more human but I made it so that they could change shape to suit the terrain I was on as well as making it so they could grow claws. then to the legs, I kept the same team making them human but I made the bones and muscle denser while making the blood veins more efficient as well, up to the pelvis I kept the joints mostly the same with some changes for my tail and stronger legs as well as making doing the same to the muscle, bone, and blood as with the legs which I will do to the rest of the body. up to the torso, I kept the same shape but I changed my digestive tract to something far stronger and faster than the normal human allowing me to digest toxins without a problem doing the same with the liver, kidneys, and spleen.
up to the chest I made the lugs larger but dense and strengthened the heart, in the arms I made them slightly longer as I did the same with the fingers also marking them able to grow claws. finally, to the head, I made the eyes heterochromatic because I liked the look while giving them ten cones compared to the three a human has with three times the rods but allowing me to turn some off so I could see in normal light. down to the teeth, I kept them the same as humans but made them sharper and stronger as well as Letting them regrow. with the ears, I just made them much more sensitive and did the same with the nose. with my brain and nerves, in general, I made them denser and about five times faster as well as changed the neuron structures so I could learn faster than normal also giving me a benedict memory. Finally, I kept my hair black like the original Cain but gave myself long sharp bone white horns coming out of my forehead that were much stronger than normal.
after finishing something felt wrong so I looked all threw out my new body changing some things such as giving myself reproductive organs (male by the way) and optimizing a few things but something still felt off. looking through the spare body parts from before I started I noticed something, a second circulatory system that pumped mana instead of blood with a different 'heart' to pump it around.
studying it I realized this was what it was missing so I decided to add it to the body but with some changes. I combined it with the main circulatory system so it would flow with my blood as well as combining the heart and mana organs into one that would pump both. changing the veins so they would be able to handle both I made them denser and tougher while optimizing them so that there would be no waste while making the changes I note as I made them more efficient process also became more effective. spending what felt like days making small but important changes to the overall body I finally decided it was finished.
