Vampire Amnesia
Chapter 17
Half floating, Bilbina walked towards the room. All of her joints suddenly went limp. Impatiently, she opened the door. Bilbina could barely support herself. She collapsed, face down with half of her legs still dangling over the edge of the bed.
Slowly, Bilbina's fingers touched her burning hot cheeks. Meanwhile, her heart thumped in her chest, almost exploding. She still trembles when she remembers a few moments ago being in Axell's sturdy body.
Clearly imprinted in Bilbina's mind, Axell's deep gaze seemed to penetrate deep into the darkest corners of Bilbina's heart. For a moment her soul had been touched in the most special way she could feel.
Bilbina is not an innocent girl. But, so far she has never felt interested in having a relationship with a young man in particular. She never allowed anyone to get too close. Every time someone approached, she gently dodged until the people around Bilbina realized, she just wanted to be friends, nothing more.
Meanwhile, Bilbina and Axell? Since the first meeting, the two of them have tried to avoid each other. Then, why had she felt he had been waiting for that moment her entire life? It was crazy, they were two complete strangers who had just met.
The sound of a soft knock on the door immediately made Bilbina sit up right then and there. She wasn't ready to see Axell's face again so soon. Her chest was pounding.
"Princess? Can Grandpa come in?"
Bilbina breathed a sigh of relief when she heard her grandfather's soft voice. "Just come in Grandpa, the door is unlocked!"
Hogan looked at his granddaughter who was sitting on the edge of the bed. Bilbina's face looks radiant. There was a tightness that filled Hogan's chest with emotion. His little girl has grown into a beautiful adult girl.
Hogan has never regretted the time he spent serving Axell. Ever since he was rescued from dying on the side of the road by Axell, he has surrendered his body and soul to his young master.
Just, every time he meets his family, there is a spark of sadness that descends on Hogan's mind. He realized that he had lost precious moments during Bilbina's growth. Now his granddaughter has transformed into such a beautiful young girl. The girl was looking at him with questioning eyes.
Hogan pulled up a chair that was in front of Bilbina's cosmetic table. He pulled the chair up to face his granddaughter who was still sitting in the same position as before.
"Bin, do you really want to live in the dorm?"
The sound of wood crackling, burning from the direction of the fireplace, could be heard faintly in the middle of the quiet room. Only occasionally could hear Bilbina's sighs. She was still silent staring at her grandfather, the man whose presence she had always longed for. Now they could be together and she was very happy about it.
With great difficulty, Bilbina finally managed to live with her grandfather. However, now it is she, herself who took the initiative to get out of the house, its all that deserved by all she did as far? She just didn't want Axell to feel disturbed by her presence.
Bilbina doesn't want her grandfather to get in trouble from Axell because of her existence. After she watched her grandfather and Axell's daily life, Bilbina could see how close the two of them were. There is an invisible bond that is so strong between Axell and his grandfather.
