The entire room seemed to fall deadly silent as everyone stared at Benedito as if he were a god on earth. He always stressed that he struggled to make grand confessions of love in front of other people but I wondered if he himself even realised what he said as he shyly looked at me with a hot blush across his cheeks. 

I knew I was crying, how could I not be crying but his words forced our entire relationship from the day we had met to play before my very eyes as if it were a movie even I struggled to believe existed. How a love so pure could be gifted to me with such open arms as if I had done something worthy to deserve it?

"Don't cry," he softly smiled as he held either side of my face and wiped away my tears.
