"Why do these folks continually ruin my fun?" When Sigret passed Robin the update, he was on the verge of losing his temper. When she referred to "them," she was obviously referring to the CIA. Even though it was almost midday when they went out on date, the CIA still managed to turn up at a moment when he was having a good time. This happened to him the last time too, when he was out on a date.
He was confident that the CIA had done this on purpose.
"Is there any problem?" After gently squeezing his hand, Cathrin questioned him.
"Once again, the obnoxious folks are here. You know what, since these people want to annoy they must face the consequences." Robin stated as he looked at Cathrin, who appeared to be somewhat perplexed by the words he had just spoken.
What exactly was it?
"Would you like to take a flight in a helicopter to an exciting adventure?" Robin suddenly asked.
"What?"
"Yeah. Do you want to go to an island that effectively grows the ingredients that makes the medicine?" While clarifying, Robin posed the question. When he asked her again, Cathrin's eyes widened in response. She was taken aback by his suggestion because she hadn't anticipated it.
"You've got an island under you?" Cathrin expressed surprise.
"More or less. Because of the potential impact they could have on our ecology, the primary component must be cultivated on an island. Certain individuals have a strong desire to learn more about the island and travel there. Are you interested in coming with me?" Robin asked.
"But isn't that a violation of the contract, and isn't it also a trade secret?" Cathrin inquired about it since she had the impression that something of this nature must be a well-kept secret. She was already aware of the drugs that were going to be made available, and she knew that businesses like this one like to keep a lot of information to themselves.
"It's all good. The primary component is a collection of plants, and these people are curious as to what species of plants they are. They are difficult to maintain, and my company is the only one that is familiar with how to administer them." Robin stated. Cathrin paused for a moment of reflection before deciding to nod her head. Because she had been looking forward to this day ever since their first date, she didn't want to leave Robin. Because he had invited her, she didn't see any reason not to accompany him.
They didn't waste any time getting up and leaving; she was especially a little bit enthusiastic about it. She was no stranger to riding in helicopters, but she had never before visited a privately owned island. As it would be her first time, she was interested in seeing what the person she was dating did for a living firsthand.
In her own mind, she was already preparing herself for a situation similar to Jurassic Park!
When Cathrin got back to his house, Sigret was already there waiting for him. She was quite fine with Cathrin coming along for the ride. Cathrin felt a little shy looking at Sigret but Sigret was pretty professional and welcomed her.
This was the first time Cathrin was in his 'home' and she felt that it was totally different from what she had expected her first time in his home would be, but it is what it is. Although Cathrin was busy gushing over the 'house' that Robin had gotten for himself, Sigret did not utter a single word as she simply led them to the living.
They reached the room where CIA was waiting. A man was seen sitting on the sofa while dressed in full business clothes, and there were two other males standing behind him dressed in all black military garb. Cathrin's mind was completely blown when she saw the two men in black, but Robin and the others didn't seem to mind it at all.
She suddenly felt a little uncomfortable seeing the guns in their waist.
"I apologise for interrupting you, Mr. Kashyap. I hope I didn't come at a poor time." The man stood up and extended his hand to the other.
"Why care when you already know the answer." The reply came from Robin. This made the man feel awkward. It was already recommended to him that he avoid upsetting Robin in any manner and instead focus on ensuring that he was content. It was just a shame that the air permit was only granted to them at this particular time of day. The man chuckled in an unconvincing manner and continued.
"I'm sorry to hear that. I am Jonathan Mendes sent by the Director."
"You are familiar with everyone in this room, and this is Cathrin; she will accompany us. I am hoping that is not a problem for your company." Robin stated. Robin chose to introduce her despite the fact that he was certain the CIA was also monitoring her activities. In point of fact, following their initial run-in with the CIA, he dispatched a Ghost to constantly watch over and protect her. Even though she wasn't his girlfriend, she was still an innocent person, and he didn't want anything bad to happen to her. Though she wasn't his girlfriend, she was still an innocent person.
Jonathan nodded his head. In any case, it was a sizable passenger helicopter, and there was room for ten individuals inside. After delivering them to the VIP escort, Jonathan quickly rode off to the military base, where the helicopters were already waiting for them. Cathrin was a little uneasy due to the high level of security that was present, so she clung tightly to Robin's hand. Even though she was anticipating some kind of escort throughout this journey, she had no idea that it would be quite so extravagant.
"Are you sure it's not a problem if I come along with you?" While Cathrin was driving, she posed the question.
"That won't be an issue at all. You will merely be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement, and that will be it. The same thing is going to be required of us as well." Robin stated. Soon they reached the military compound where the choppers were waiting for him.
The two combat choppers were the Boeing AH-64E Apache Guardian and these were supposed to be the best human choppers ever made. The lightning-fast speed with which these two helicopters were transported to a military base in Malaysia was nothing short of a miracle. The United States of America wielded far too much authority in several other countries. After Robin and the others had boarded the passenger helicopter, it quickly took off. Cathrin was completely transfixed by the military helicopters and kept staring at them with a broad grin on her face.
"Mr. Kashyap, I am hoping that at this point you will be able to provide us with the coordinates to your island." Jonathan said. He had dealt with Robin in the most courteous manner possible. With Robin's affirmative response, Sigret continued to provide the pilot with the coordinates.
It was quite a distance away from Kuala Lumpur, and in point of fact, the island was virtually completely outside of the jurisdiction of Malaysia; furthermore, it was located on the maritime border between Malaysia and Brunei. There were a great number of islands much like this one, but none of them had any inhabitants on them.
After being in the helicopter for an hour, the pilot began to reduce the speed and gradually bring the craft's height down. Everyone quickly got a look at a massive island that had pockets of forest all around it. The island wasn't particularly large, but it did contain a helipad and a few cabins off to the side of it. When the passenger aircraft made its way down, the combat helicopters remained in the air.
The CIA had sent them in order to make sure that Robin was intimidated a bit and also make sure that he didn't pull any bullshit on them, though Jonathan knew by seeing Robin's face that he didn't much care about the Apache helicopters.
After stepping out of the helicopter, Cathrin and the others felt a sudden gust of strong wind smacking their faces from the direction of the ocean. Two men who seemed to waiting and wearing lab coats came forward.
Jonathan found himself in a rather peculiar circumstance. He had anticipated that he would be sent to one of the research facilities where the berries were being cultivated, but it seems that he had anticipated too much.
His intelligence was high enough to know that this small island wasn't the official island where the berries were grown and that it was just one of the offsites for the company that harvested the berries, plus it didn't look like there was any kind of lab on this island at all, and it didn't appear to have any kind of laboratory on it either.
But, he didn't seem to care about it at all. Following closely behind Jonathan were his two bodyguards who had accompanied him, and this time it was the two men who were in control of the firearms. The two men dressed in lab coats enthusiastically greeted Robin and the other people.
It should come as no surprise that they were Robin's guys. These individuals in lab coats were taken from the scientific team that was working for the Brotherhood. A few days ago, Vertigo came here with these men and also a Constructor in order to build a helipad and a few cabins for the men to reside in while they were here. And Robin's intention all along was to mislead them, which is why he made them go through all that trouble just to show them the berries.
There was no way Robin was going to show them the plants that gave the miraculous berries, instead he was going to show them a species of plants that would make these people from CIA piss themself.
The plant that Robin had chosen to dupe the CIA was the Venomous Tentacula from Hogwarts Legacy. When Robin found out that the CIA was targeting him, he needed to come up with a plan and so he decided to go for the game that had been launched relatively recently and was in trend at the moment. Robin himself played the game at times and at the end when the character had maxed out he had proceeded to bring out the wand from the playable character.
Naturally, he experimented with casting spells with his hand, and guess what? He could do magic with the help of wand. Sigret had stated in the past that because he was a Dragonborn, he was capable of doing conventional magic; yet, he was unable to do so for whatever reason, which may have been because there was no mana in the environment. But in case of Hogwarts legacy it wasn't anything like that. They had no need for mana, as it occurred naturally to them. In fact the last few days, he had been making a Hogwarts library inside TARDIS, and bringing out all the books from Hogwarts inside the library of TARDIS.
