Kaine closed the door behind them, cracking a smile as he watched the pair walk off. Turning and lightly kicking the door with the back of his foot he whistled a sweet tune as he walked up the stairs to his master bedroom.
Scratching his head he fell face first into a pillow, a lazy grin still plastered on his face. "What an uneventful day." He said to himself before promptly falling asleep.

Bells-Loud ringing bells, bells that could shake the world. Trumpets, trumpets that could move the Earth's crust, a dazzling, white cathedral and at its steps sat an angel clad in white,
"Hark, the angels warning... Heaven's jaw swings agape to swallow the sea of sinners. And you are the worst of all. The gut of hell will burn your organs and char your skin, for the seraph has awaken." The angel claimed.
The eyes of the witness laid upon the cathedral doors, approaching it with shaking hands, only to find the doorknobs red ho9t and locked.

"Hey, Dr. Rudd, It's Kaine. When are you available?" Kaine said aloud typing out his thoughts. Pressing send he began to type again. "Having 'that' dream again. Ttys." He finished. Cracking his neck and stretching he began his morning routine, which consisted of a few basic workouts, wrapped up by a long warm shower. Today was the day; The first day of school, many people were excited, but Kaine could only think about one thing stressing his mind.
Looking down he sighed at the sad excuse of a breakfast he had prepared himself.
"Dry eggs, burnt toast, and a sad stack of shitty pancakes... Damn, I need a chef." He said chuckling to himself.
"So, Rey and... Kolar?" He tilted his head as he read off the name of his professors being displayed on his bracelet, which held a holographic schedule. "She sounds familiar-B.V.A?... No, I'd remember her, well probably."
He glanced at the surrounding information being displayed as he began to change into his uniform. The current time was 9:21, the beginning of the first class would begin at 10:30, Kaine had a little bit more than an hour to arrive to class, which wouldn't be all that heard with what he was capable of.
But truly the "No Power" Rules had truly thrown a wrench in what Kaine planned to do. Which put simply was just to fuck around until he wasn't bored anymore, but perhaps he would try and have a normal life.
Whether it be having two of the biggest heroes in the world as parents, or almost killing your best friend, and maybe even working for the organization that keeps Variants at bay from an early age Kaine never had much of a peaceful life.
"Well... not much to think about." Kaine said falling back onto his bed, falling into a quick slumber.
"Mr. Lenoir, Mr. Lenoir, Mr. Lenoir, you're needed for class. Mr. Kaine Lenoir, you are currently ten minutes late for class, I repeat Mr. Lenoir you are ten minutes late for class." A robotic voice rang out from both Kaine's smartphone and bracelet.
"God damn it, all right!" He shouted slapping his face, before shaking his head. He sprang up from bed and quickly went to brush his teeth. Applying tear drops to both eyes, he gently shook his head as he ran water through his hair, slicking it back and allowing it to rest near his shoulders.
"Phew..." With a slight sigh he prepared himself for the first day of class, and perhaps the first day of a semi-normal life.
He looked down at his phone noticing the time it was now 10:46, and no way in hell was he about to wait for buses, or a qUber, one of those fancy self-driving car taxi things. So, with a shrug he snapped his fingers, instantly transporting him to his classroom.
"Ah!" An older lady screamed as she jumped back, her face was extremely easy to read... She was pissed off.
"And you sir, are you Kaine Lenoir? That white hair and frame, you're quite the talk of the town, but to think that the son of Allen and Martha Lenoir would be this late to a class-well It's quite baffling and honestly insulting. I mean... you aren't even in uniform." She said waving her hand pointing out his issues from head to toe.
She shook her head pointing at the door. "Go down to the office and get your uniform please." She finished holding the bridge of her nose as she looked down.
Kaine glanced down at his body smirking as he realized she was right; he was still wearing sweats. Yawning, he snapped his fingers once more the clothes he previously had equipped had seemingly disappeared, now being replaced by his uniform.
The lady looked up as she heard the snap. She was certainly flabbergasted, not at the sight of Kaine's power, as things of that nature weren't impossible to find.
What she was spooked from was the devil in the details. While the university did enforce a "No-Power" rule, on top of that there was a literal barrier over the campus blocking variant genes from communicating to the brain, meaning simply... There should be no powers-period. The wristbands teachers wore gave them immunity to this barrier.
'Does he have an admin bracelet?' The Lady asked herself.
"Wait... you've never even been into the school before so just how did you teleport into the classroom?" She asked the questions in her mind now piling up on one another.
Right as Kaine was going to answer there was a hurried knock on the classroom door. The lady walked past Kaine swinging it open, but not before she threw multiple curious glances to the boy.
In front of the door there was another older woman. Perhaps late thirties, brown-almost gold hair, shining blue eyes, with an extremely athletic frame.
She also seemed to be out of breath, and sweating. Seeing the door open she hunched over, catching her breath.
"K-Kaine, Is Kaine Lenoir in this classroom?" She asked, trying to space her breath.
The white-haired boy simply walked into frame, smiling and waving at the heavy breathing woman.
Walking up to her he put his hand out.
"You must be Agnes." He said with a grin.
Slapping his hand away the lady's energy bounced back with ferocious intent. "It's Ms. Kolar to you sir, now hurry up. Not only are you late to class, but you also appear in someone else's? And the cherry on top you broke school rules. Now luckily for you sir the Dean has for some reason chosen not to punish you, and I won't go too deep into figure out why. But you need to hurry up and come with me kid."
Kaine shrugged and waived a simple goodbye to the teacher of the other class.
Agnes, or Ms. Kolar, led him throughout the school and back outside. Kaine's brow furrowed as they continued walking throughout the school's campus.
"Uh... I thought I was going to class?" He asked, obviously confused. Ms. Kolar rolled her eyes ignoring the kid.
After a few minutes of an awkward silence, she finally decided to speak up.
With a groan she began, "Look brat, you think they'd let a variant who couldn't run across the halls teach the next batch of heroes? We are going to class, but you aren't in the division." She said, halting her steps. She pointed to a sleek black towering tower, it had to be at least 20 stories tall. Made up of seemingly all glass on the outside, with tiny beams supporting it throughout.
"That's where we were going kid. The A.B, or what most people call it the Accelerated Building. Only for variants with potential to reach the stars. Or B-S ranks. And I, teach Group S-1." She finished with a foreign sense of pride in her speech.
"Group S? Like S rank?" Kaine asked, the two of them now picking their pace back up.
Nodding her head Agnes smiled. "Yep kid, those who have the potential to become an S-Ranked variant are placed in Group S."
"Hmm..." Kaine let out as he began thinking to himself.
'If I was placed in a class with a bunch of potential S ranks, would I be able to let loose a bit?... Wait.'
"Wait, you said that those from B-S are here, but being an S-Ranked variant is virtually impossible. I mean what maybe a few thousand? And out of what twelve million? Those aren't great odds." Kaine said quizzically.
"Yes of course Kid we know that, but it isn't about being an S rank, it's about having the potential to achieve it. Kids without a cap to their talent, we have D rank kids who by twenty-one will be A rank." She answered.
Kaine shook his head trying to understand the twisted logic.
"But back there, in the other building there were a few B ranked students, I could feel that energy, so why wouldn't they be here?" He asked.
"Simple kid... They aren't aiming to go above and beyond. Their content with being just a "B Rank" variant. I'd rather train an F rank who wants to go above the stars than some brat who was happy being an A rank."
Kaine rolled his head as he listened to her odd logic. Truthfully, he didn't care about anything she was saying, but it was nice to listen to her explain the weird lore around the Accelerated Building.
Double tapping her bracelet, she held it up to her mouth as she spoke into it. "33-27-1032, K and L, student bypass." The bracelet Glew red for a moment and then quickly died out.
Radio static ensued briefly.
[Roger That, 33-27 approved for transport. Authorizing L for transport]
Kaine simply waited as the seemingly built in radio transferred the communication to Ms. Kolar and the radio operator. The bracelet flashed the red light once again, before the radio buzz returned as well.
[Uh... 33-27, L has been authorized, L is code 167-M. Initiating transport]
And with that Kaine's vision flipped and quickly returned as fast as it had vanished.
He now found himself in a bright room, well not truly a room but rather an office space. With three younger women stationed across a sleek wood desk. Looking around he realized Agnes was no longer with him. Shrugging he walked up to the desk flashing a smile.
"Greetings Sir, can we have a name and home professor?" One of the ladies said with a dazzling smile of her own.
"Kaine Lenoir, Agnes Kolar." He responded looking the girl in the eye. She was certainly around his age, maybe only twenty if not younger.
"Mr. Lenoir, of course. Here is your ID chip, and an optional A.C badge. Please return to the space you had arrived, and you will be transported to your classroom." She said bowing her head after handing him the items.
'ID chip? What the fuck is that? I already have an ID, is it specific to this building?' He asked himself, taking hold of the small computer piece.
"Uh, what do I do with this?" He asked the lady who had helped him.
"Oh of course!" She said chuckling to herself. "I apologize sir, take your Quantum Phone and simply place the chip on top of it. The chip will grant you access to facilities only available to those in the Accelerated Building, as well as access to restricted knowledge and areas, only granted to those in Group S!" She explained cheerfully.
"Hmm..." Kaine let out examing the card before gently placing it on top of the sleek black screen on the already thin phone. Kaine had expected some form of fancy, showy crap to ensue but nothing special happened. It truly was just 'absorbed', sinking into the phone and disappearing.
Kaine shrugged as he walked back to the transport pad he had arrived on. The lady smiled once more as she seemingly pushed something he could not see from the front of the desk, but seconds later his vision once again shifted into a blinding light before returning to normal.
Squinting his eyes, he had found himself in a new grandiose hallway, looking to either side of him he found doors with numbers, letters and names.
They all seemed to be Professor's, so he walked throughout the hall for a few moments before finding the door titled:
{S-1}
He pushed it open expecting there to be a massive hall, or maybe even something similar to a large college classroom. But he was truly shocked to see there were only perhaps 15 or 20 seats, and some of them were not even being used.
Walking in the classroom he was greeted with a few familiar faces; The duo from earlier Myla and Shiro, Professor Kolar, and his personal favorite.
A man dressed in a sleek deep blue suit, with his black hair swept back. His features prominently Hispanic, he smiled as he twisted his deep black mustache. His eyes dropped down to Kaine's hands, the small smile growing tenfold.
"Rey... I'm back." He said as he walked in front of the peering classmates to go and hug the man. Rey was about two heads shorter than Kaine, as well as being almost twice his age, but as the two men embraced it would seem as if they had been best friends for ages.
"Ahem, Mr. Lenoir. If you could..." Professor Kolar cleared her throat, disrupting the union between the two.
She pointed to a desk in the back of class, second to last to be exact, placed right beside the large window that supplied an excellent view of the green and luscious courtyard garden that was beside the building.
Following her hand Kaine scoffed and let out a soft chuckle.
"Fuck no."
