Chapter 34: Across the Line
Holly Adams POV:
Andy and I stepped into a parody of a police interview room. No two-way mirror, it was just a concrete floor and walls with a small table with a young man handcuffed to it.
A young man I recognized instantly. And who certainly recognized me if the glare on his face was any indication.
“You,” the two of us said at the same time.
“So, you do know each other,” Andy commented as he closed the door behind us.
“You could say that” I agreed grudgingly. “In the loosest sense.”
The man sitting across the table from us was Twitchy, the man who had pulled a knife on me during my first visit to King’s cage fights. I turned to Andy. “He’s one of the people that’s supposed to be above King?”
Twitchy snorted.
