Goldie, completely oblivious to Elaine's hateful gaze, and surrounded by a crowd of stares and whispers of admiration feels increasingly uneasy. 

This was the day when she was supposed to discreetly sneak into the janitor's closet to steal away all suspicious footage of herself from the school security systems.

How on earth would she be able to find the privacy necessary for such discrete work with all eyes pinned onto her?
