Capítulo 309: Two Dawns (Part 1)

The empress had made a foolproof plan for when she went into labor. 

She would take Basileus Jr. to Galen and Ebari. Depending on how far apart her contractions were she would either go all the way to the hospital by hovercar–which is what she preferred– or she would stay in the medical wing of the castle where Basileus Jr. had been born in the first place. 

When her water broke in the middle of the night, she stood up and decided to go clean herself up in the shower before she would wake Basileus and take their son to their friends' residence in the other spire of the castle. There was no use in putting the emperor in a state of panic prematurely.

However, his sharp ears and oversensitive nature since his wife had been pregnant woke him up with a start the moment he heard the bathroom door slide shut behind her. He was quick to his feet and went to the door. His dark eyebrows shot to his forehead when he heard the shower turn on.
