Capítulo 260: You Don't Have To

Eventually, the two men were left alone. 

Galen couldn't look at Ebari for more than a couple of seconds at a time and Ebari felt an invisible force gripping his throat each time he tried to reiterate what he had been saying before.

The words shared between them were shallow in comparison to the confessions Ebari had been quietly telling Galen when he was unconscious. He felt like a pathetic excuse of a man for not being able to say those things to him while he was awake. 

No part of Ebari wanted to leave Galen's side but the silence between them was thick and uncomfortable. 

Dr. Salus had finally removed the last of Galen's monitors and IV so he was finally able to eat as he wanted to and move around a little bit. 

The first few steps he had taken were shaky and, even though he had only been out for a week, he felt weakness in his legs. The stiff joints weren't helping with his mobility either.
