Capítulo 141: Curiosity

One step forward, two steps back. 

That's how Ebari felt after the strange encounter in the elite training area with Galen. 

For a moment he found the semblance of what could be a budding friendship but something must have happened to change Galen's mind. He knew it couldn't be Varya - she would never do anything to get in his way of making other friends. 

He stepped out of the shower and dried off his body before wrapping the towel around his waist. The mirror was foggy and he wiped it away, only to see the image of a lonely man. He gripped the sink and let go of a sigh as golden orbs stared back at him.

In a perfect world, he could have a friendship with Varya without ever having to open his heart all the way. If he could have just stopped at friendship it would have been more than enough for him. The moment she asked how long he had loved Kruos, that's when his world seemed to end.
