After the incident in the throne room, Galen nervously followed Varya as she walked the halls of the castle and returned to her quarters. He expected more of a reaction from her, but she was unusually silent on the way there. She kept looking down at her hand but he had no context as to why she was so worried about it.

When they arrived at the door to her room, Varya assured him that she was going to be fine. All she needed to do was try to go to sleep because nothing was going to be solved that night.

After all, Ebari was going to be there soon so she wasn't at all worried about her safety and they should keep their focus on the ships outside.

The moment Varya was in her quarters, she put the rings back in the box and put on the one she was supposed to wear considering who her husband was.
