Capítulo 113: It's Her

The emperors received notification that there was someone entering through the main door of the castle. All others who occupied the castle had their own separate entrances so it meant someone was there who was a guest - as uninvited as they were.

Varya had to take a deep calming breath before she hesitantly let go of Ebari's hand. She pulled the hood over her head, sure to obscure all of her hair from view and cast a shadow over her face.

Her main worry was always that someone in her past life such as a customer at the brothel or even the brothel's owner, Armis, coming to pay her a visit. She didn't know how those under her in the empire would feel about one of their emperors being a former prostitute. Despite never having slept with any of her clients, it wasn't an image she wanted.

She had never used a pseudonym until now, not ever thinking she would have to worry about the public trying to dig into her past.
