Capítulo 68: Little Jo

Journee stared at the computer screen. It was black as the media player was playing an audio file. The whole room was silent except for the voices of Archer and Zion streaming out of the speakers. William and Kay too stopped eating. William stopped as he heard the words 'the hall massacre' whereas Kay stopped as he knew what was coming next.

Both Kay and William stared at Journee. But her focus was fixed on the computer screen. It seemed as if she was watching those two men talking with each other with her own eyes. William and Kay removed their plates from their laps and placed them on the table. They knew a tsunami of emotions was about to come their way.

Zion's voice gushed out of the speaker. "Yes, he killed my uncle's family." Journee enclosed her fork completely in her palm and squeezed it tightly. Her jaw was clenched and her whole body was shaking with anger. She was still not breathing. One more second and the vein in her forehead would pop.
