Capítulo 230: Bloodfire Falls War Part 1: The Herald's Cometh

Location the Chaos Wastes/The Bloodfire Falls, Soon to be Battlefield-Dark Legion vs. the Heralds of the Tempest
The bubbling pools of lava, were calm in this OW-Khorne corrupted area.
Countless of skeletal remains from various Chaos followers, tribes, and even some kislevites and imperials were amongst the dead as shown from their withered clothes and equipment that lay in the OW-Khorne desolated, volcanic landscape.
All that remain here was death, fire, and remnants of countless battles of old...
Until now...shaking and rumbling disturb this ancient desolate graveyard of war.
As the rumbling intensifies out came a titanic creature...a daemon, and living fortress of the Dark Legion and the lord that lead it Ixion Daemonhart, the avatar of the Warp Gods.
Thrashing and roaring, Enzium entered the Bloodfire Falls boarders and even with a month of having conquered all the Kvelligs tribes and territories, it appears that the Warp Gods and their forces still arrived first...which is both a boon and a disadvantage in the upcoming war.
A boon because it allowed Khorne to prepare their troops and plan what to do against the upcoming enemy, but there in also lies the disadvantage as until they got into a specific distance, he and his brothers Nurgle and Laharl are blind to where their enemies might come from.
All of them are used to using the Warp to oversee and sense everything but regardless Khorne despising psyker and magic energies they all can sense and manipulate the psychic energies of the Immaterium, but here they must depend on the Winds of Magic and of all three of them Khorne is by far the weakest because of his stubborness.
But that's not important now, as they promised the Blood God shall fight and lead this war against the Heralds of the Tempest, before leaving Enzium, Laharl and Nurgle gave control over Ixion, to their brother and the avatar transformed into his avatar state.
Holding tightly his avatar's greatsword and heavy axe (Hellbane Hellfire & Bloodreaver) as he walked ahead of their forces leading down the stairs that lead outside of Enzium, as the said daemon fortress was laying down to let them go out and prepare for the upcoming war...
Khorne was leading an army of 2300+ force of daemons and mortal as the secret entrance of Enzium shifted open, allowing the Blood God to see throught Ixion the khornate corrupted, volcanic landscape, smirking and excited the Blood God tightened the grip of his weapons.
This shall be his first true battle, and the Lord of Skulls, shall have his fill of blood, battle, and murder as he started making Ixion walk forward and stepping to the soon to be battleground as blood, plague, and carnage daemons marched out along with Blood-Drinkers, Plague and Chaos Marauders...and that sorceress from Slaanesh's followers the Hedonites, the woman, Arrel-zhan, was a Shardspeaker who have been gifted with a relic from the known as the Twisted Mirrors, and vy tapping into the power of these slaaneshi artifacts, the shardspeakers can use the lore of Slaanesh and other vile spells of debauchery.
Despite him despising cowardly magic...especially from their future sister, as she is a total whore and a insult to what it means to be a warrior...but he knows he needs to use all resources that he can to win, grumbling Khorne, he order her to join his brother's cryowitches as the primary magical force in the Dark Legion.
Khorne combined the Blood-Drinkers, his khornate daemons with the Slaughterbrute at the back, and also the Chaos Marauders to be main attack force in this battle.
Laharl's pack of wolven eldar...the shi'lanorai shall be joined by the flesh hounds, warhounds and norscan ice wolves, their flanking and fastest units against Kholek and his forces.
While the rest of the frost eldars, with the exception of the crystal wraiths and sawdisks mortifinis they're all be placed in the rear, as he will be joined by the rest of the mortifinis, chaos knights and some blood warriors that shall be the Blood God attack force.
Nurgle's daemons (Plaguebearers & Infectors) will fight beside the Plagued Marauders acting as his heavy infantry, with two of Laharl's Infernals acting as their back-up, and muscle...seeing them the Blood God, believes that he should create his own mindless daemonic constructs for his own legion, little did Khorne now that inside of Ixion was thinking the same thing as him...
In the end, all preparations were done and Khorne/Ixion was confident on the formations he has done.
Now...begrudgingly, he must wait for his opponent, and as time passes the Chaos God of War, impatience and anger grew only by his brothers speaking and promising him a glorious, completely bloodsoaked battle...so he reigned in his anger for now...
All the while the Speaker, Zxaie-xie was watching everything happening as the chosen herald of the Chaos Gods, he must be present to this battle and see its result...believing that he was secretly has given Kholek and his army the advantage on this battle.
Truthfully he was surprised that the Daemonharts choose the khornate champion to lead this battle, but he still hopes that Ixion falls in this battle and present all his forces, including Enzium to the true chosen of the Gods, Lord Archeon!!!
Location the Chasm of Torment, near the cliff-edge of Bloodfire Falls
A huge Chaos army, the Heralds of the Tempest that was heralded by dark storm clouds.
As the army was rushing to reach the Bloodfire Falls, and at last clash against on the head of this army was the largest and most powerful dragon ogre shaggoths, Kholek Suneater as his draconian legs rush forwards leading many shaggoths, dragon ogres, and summoners of rage.
Behind them hundreds of tribesmen from the Norscan Tribe, along with the Kurgans, and the Kvelligs that haven't joined Ixion Daemonhart, heavy armored unaligned Chaos Knights as well as a couple of shaman-sorcerers lead by the tzeentchian sorceror, Kuurath'gaad.
The servents of the Dark Gods, they were eager for this battle, as regardless which ever of these champions Kholek Suneater or Ixion Daemonhart, the victor shall be the most favored by the Gods and the most worthy of following.
The stormclouds were raging and thunder cracking as the dragon ogres and their leader damned by the world to never be seen by the sky or Sun are causing this Tempest.
As Kholek was leading the march, he commanded the summoners to bring fort as much tempest and storm they could muster, as lightning crashed on the shartaks (what dragon ogres call each other) empowering, and strengthening more, and more as they continue their march to the Bloodfire Falls...
Sometime later...
Location the Chaos Wastes/The Bloodfire Falls Battlefield-Dark Legion vs. the Heralds of the Tempest
Khorne/Ixion's rage was about to burst in a great wave of bloodlust, hellfire, and anger but that's when he and his brothers sensed powerful souls approaching from the higher level of the Bloodfire Falls.
This replaced Khorne's impatience...to excitement, eagerness, and battlelust, rising Ixion's arm high in the air he yells, "AT LAST!!! GLORIOUS BATTLE SHALL BEGIN!!!!" hearing Ixion/Khorne say those words alerted all within the Dark Legion.
The Blood-Drinkers hearing the words of the Chosen of the Gods, and quite possibly the greatest khornate champion to have risen even greater than their old chieftain Kjarl Deathaxe, knew that meant that battle will soon begin, so they shouted their praise to the Blood God, "BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!!! SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE!!!!"
Not knowing that their prayer and worship strengthen the Warp Khorne, within Ixion further pleasing him as the once desolate, grey skies of the Chaos Wastes were starting to be shrouded by brewing and malignant stormcloud, as his brother, the Dark One told him about Kholek Suneater and the signs of his coming Khorne, had Ixion ready for battle.
Just like the Blood-Drinkers, the rest of the Dark Legion of the Damned, prepared for the upcoming battle, a battle that will greatly please the Gods and earn them untold amount of favor, in their glory as their lord Ixion Daemonhart!!!
Like Ixion/Khorne predicted the storm now covered the Bloodfire Falls entirely, as a lightningbolt struke down hitting an imposing figure, the Herald of the Tempest, Kholek Suneater stood over the edge of the cliff with his mystical warhammer, the Starcrusher held in his right hand.
The "Tempest's Kiss" surging through his black and brass armor, blue lightning course through the great Shaggoth, even illuminating his eyes in blue energy, lowering his giant warhammer then pointing it straight down at Ixion/Khorne yelling, "HE IS MINE!!!! KILL THE REST!!!!!" the moment Kholek roared that from the east and west came Chaos Marauders rushing straight to the Dark Legion.
Khorne shared the same sentiment as Kholek none shall face the shaggoth, but him...but at least he can amuse himself by slaughtering all his weak minions that Kholek, he has ohh so generously send to him.
But first he has to tenderize his prey...rising his avatar's axe the Bloodreaver he swung it signaling to Enzium to start firing the skull-cannons and the magma-rite catapults at the enemy forces.
As Enzium roares far away from the actual battle, the greater chaos daemon started firing at it's dark masters enemies, all over the volcanic battlefield was being bombarded.
Explosions of not just hellfire but small magma bursts from the volcanic grounds, catching many victims in a horrific fiery deaths, making both Khorne and Laharl please at the slaughter, atrocities, carnage, blood, and Chaos being wrought upon their enemies.
As Enzium continues it onslaught one of the infernals magma-rites flew straight at Kholek's force, a stray magma-rite was shot at Kholek but the Herald of the Tempest wasn't alarmed or moving...
The magma-rite crashed and exploded in impact where Kholek stood, seeing this Khorne instructed Enzium to cease its firing as the smoke and brimstone was clearing from the bombardment, once it became clear a highly mutated and favored tzeentchian sorceror (Kuurath'gaad) appeared using magic from the lore of metal, as a silvery energy not only coated the sorceror but Kholek as well. [Metalshifting & Glittering Robe]
Showing them both to be completely unharmed, this both relieved and enraged the Blood God inside Ixion, relieved that his foe wasn't so easily struke down meaning he'll get to face him, himself...and enraged cause it was magic that was used to counter the blast!!!!
Khorne was thinking of all the things he'll reap at the Raven God's magical slave...but he heard his brother, the Dark One say to, "Brother. Take the souls of all those sorcerors with that same type of magic as that mortal." Khorne responded with a question "Why brother? Why do you want such weak magic as that?"
That's when Laharl reminded him, that didn't have to use magic of any of the lores, but because he consumed that norscan shaman's soul, he now knows and resists [Fire Magic] grumbling cause he couldn't refute his elder brother's claims...Khorne, finally responded "FINE, I'LL CLAIM THEIR SOULS FOR YOU...BUT YOU OWE ME, BROTHER!!!!"
Returning to the battle, now that the enemies was greatly effected by the initial assault from Enzium, it was time to strike!!!!
Striking Ixion's greatsword and heavy axe against each other causing sparks of hellfire to burst fort, as he yelled, "Maine, kill, burn!! Maine, Kill, Burn!!! MAINE, KILL BURN!!!!! CLAIM THEIR SKULLS FOR THE THRONE, AND THE BLOODSTAINED LORD OF MURDER!!!!! KILL!!!!!"
Upon hearing Ixion/Khorne's declaration they roared as Khorne commanded Ixion to charge forward going to face the foes on the right (east) of the battlefield, with the non-sawdisk wielding mortifinis, chaos knights and some blood warriors from main attack forces headed straight at their enemy.
The Blood-Drinkers, and the Warp Blood Gods daemons with the Chaos Marauders seeing their Chaos Lord already charging in to the enemy, they followed behind to strike at the eastern enemy forces.
Meanwhile, the nurglish forces of plagued marauders, plaguebarers, and infectors-maggots and the hosts charge to left side of the enemy's forces (west) and the remaining forces of the Dark Legion, (shi'lanorai, magic casters & sawdisks mortifinis) began to advance to either join the fight or provide support to the main fighting forces of their army.
Kholek seeing the enemy was no cowards and eager for battle, he turned around and walked towards his fellow shartaks, all snarling and roaring like true dragon-kin as they are, beside the great Shaggoth was Kuurath'gaad, as Kholek smashed his warhammer pummel to the ground gaining everyone attention.
He ordered Kuurath'gaad first to start making his way to the battle and eliminate the magic users, in the Dark Legion, Kholek told him also to take the cultists and shamans with him as he made his attack, bowing to the great shaggoth the tzeentchian sorceror went to do as his lord commanded...
Kholek then addressed his kin, "It is time! Battle awaits us, along with untold glory from the Gods!!!! Kill my brethren, for the honor of the Gods!!!!" roaring and cheering to their lord's words they started marching down to join the main battle.
All the while the Speaker, watch with eagerness of Ixion's death as the battle began brutally and the Gods watched with intense eagerness to see the outcome of this battle as did Zxaie-xie as well.
