Kriolleiv had no idea what was awaiting him. By the time he led the First Legion on an urgent march towards the Bonn Fortress, it was already dusk.

"Thankfully, in case of any emergencies, we have not made camp too far away. Otherwise, it would indeed be troublesome."

Gazing at the tiny black dot of Bonn Fortress on the far horizon, General Kriolleiv couldn't resist voicing his sentiments. His face then turned solemn.

"Alright, I know everyone's exhausted, but we must press on immediately. We must reach Bonn Fortress before nightfall. Carl, prepare to hand over the fortress. We also need to initiate modifications on it...never mind, we will discuss this once we arrive."

Unwillingly, Kriolleiv sighed. In all his life, he had never fought in such a frustrating battle. But it seemed that no matter how frustrating, he had no choice but to carry on.
