Capítulo 4: Disappointment

The end of the week quickly came, and with my daily routine, I had re-attained control of my body rather quickly. Now, all the complex movements, like jumping on one leg, pushups, sit-ups, and rolling forwards, become relatively easy for me to do. Of course, when I say easy, I mean I can do the right form. I can't pump out even 10 pushups at the moment.

One thing that I wanted to note, however, is that my recovery rate seems to be pretty fast. I mean, I wouldn't have even thought about it if it wasn't noticeable, but one day I happened to fall and scrape my knee rather largely, but it completely recovered within 2 and a half days. Usually, it takes about one week to two to recover from a scrape that big, but I healed in about a third as much time.

I know it doesn't seem like an astonishing discovery, and it probably isn't, but I can't help but notice that my rate of healing is quicker than it was when I was a kid on Earth that's for sure.

Skipping over the usual details like playing and friends, there is another exciting discovery that I discovered today. It was time for the Matron to take us out to the playground in the village. Usually, we only stayed in the playground supplied to us at the orphanage, but it was finally time to go out and see the rest of Konoha.

I was pretty excited, I mean I could finally go around and see Konoha of the Naruto world. And I wouldn't have to see it from the perspective of another person, or background details that were animated without much thought, now I would see the full of Konoha in its complete beauty.

"All right kids, it's time for us to head out. Everyone knows the rules, don't stray from me, and if you need anything tell me."

All the kids in their impatience quickly responded,

"Yes, Matronnnn"

"We know Matronnn"

"Yeah, let's goo"

The Matron said with a chuckle,

"Allright allright, it's time for us to go"

And with that, we all headed out of the orphanage and opened the gates surrounding it. She locked it after exiting and made sure that we were all there, and then proceeded to start walking.

She walked at a slow pace so that we could see the world, and to tell you the truth, I was quite, how to say, disappointed. I was truly expecting to be blown out of my mind seeing everything, but it was relatively ordinary. The architecture was unique, but buildings were buildings, people were people, and the sky was the sky.

I had to note though, that the sky was much bluer than in my world, and the air was a lot more fresh. Konoha was surrounded by plenty of trees created by the first Hokage, Hashirama Senju, in a display of absolute godliness. I mean the guy created a huge forest all on his own, without even breaking a sweat. Pretty impressive.

The technology was not as advanced as Earth's, especially transportation since there were no cars, and the roads were made of dirt. But it gave a down-to-Earth feeling you wouldn't get from being in a huge technological city.

Overall, Konoha was not as majestic as I thought it would be, but it was peaceful and pleasant, which made sense considering that in the end, it was still a village. I still appreciated the new type of architecture I wouldn't have seen on Earth, and the people were much livelier as well, probably because of the chakra.

I hadn't delved into chakra and its concept yet, especially since I knew that it was dangerous to do so on my own, but I was considering doing so soon. I knew that the kids belonging to a Clan or a lineage, ones who had access to information and techniques, were able to awaken their children's chakra at around my age, meaning that this time was ideal.

I found that I was slowly leaning towards becoming a ninja, especially when I thought about what a shame it would be if I didn't. I mean, I had so much future knowledge, not just about the plot, but the characters, techniques, and events that would transpire. This opportunity was unique to me and me alone, which boosted my motivation in wanting to be a ninja. Overall, a ninja seemed to be the path I was heading towards.

While I was in my thoughts, we quickly managed to arrive at the Konoha Playground. It was packed with kids playing at the moment, none of whom I recognized. Makes sense, after all, I had just arrived, and I don't think the Clan kids would come when it was busiest.

Our orphanage group quickly integrated with the rest of the civilians, and we started playing pretty quickly. I would play with them too, but I would also find time to do some training. The training wasn't very complicated, but as I found that my coordination has increased back to normal, I wanted to start doing strength training instead of endurance.

I found a monkey bar and started hanging from it. I hung until I couldn't anymore, and then I would go back up and start doing pull-ups. I wanted to build some callouses and increase my grip strength, as well as build strength in my arms and back.

Another training I did was frog jumps and various other leg workouts, like lunging and jumping. Overall, I would tire myself out to build my endurance while going for the occasional harder exercises to build my strength.

When the sun started going down, the Matron called us and told us that we would be going back home.

"Come on kids, time to go have dinner"

All the kids started complaining and felt disappointed, especially myself. I was so excited to meet with the main characters of the story, see them for myself, talk with them, anything. But they didn't show up today, and that left me feeling very disappointed and frustrated. I only had a number of times I would go out every week after all, and I kept telling myself that today would be the day I met the characters. But I didn't.

We made our way home, and Matron noticed that I was feeling particularly down. She probably did not think much of it, and, misunderstanding the reason for my feelings, consolidated me by saying

"Don't worry Aizen, we'll head back to the playground tomorrow as well."

I beamed at her when I realized that it was another chance, and exclaimed

"Really Matron? Why so soon?"

She responded with

"Well, seeing all you young kids having so much fun, how could I take that away from you? All of us Matrons have decided that we should start giving you guys, especially the ones about to head to the academy some more freedom. After all, some of you guys will soon move in on your own and study to become ninjas in the next year or so"

Huh?

Fourth, complete. The story is at almost a thousand views, which is crazy. I mean, I didn't think it would come so fast! This is plenty encouraging, and I will try to pump out a few more chapters today. Again,

Creation is hard, cheer me up!
