Hue roared at the little boy. "I am stable! I can control my emotions!" His eyes turned red as the colour of blood. He wiggled but the chain had strained his movements.
Little Veen clasped his hand and the chain on Hue's body tightened even more. "I cannot risk your safety. You must not stain your hands with blood anymore because Little Viele and his master are still lurking around. Plus, I cannot risk all the privileges that you got by far. I don't want your effort to go to waste overnight!"
"I have to go and save my wife! She needs me!" Hue struggled against the chains that held him securely.
"Master, please believe in your aides. They will save your wife. Please remember that those they have to handle are humans with innocent souls, who had strayed from goodness."
Hue groaned in frustration. If only he had not been in exile, he would have been there with his wife, protecting her.
