Mauve couldn't see his face but she could clearly tell he wasn't pleased. She was also curious as to who would be walking through the door.

It was definitely some Lord, she wondered if it was Lord Levaton. It would almost be ironic that she spoke about him today and he showed up at her doorstep.

However, it was highly unlikely, Lord Levaton seemed like the kind of vampire that would not show up unannounced, he would inform his host beforehand.

Mauve almost held her breath and the doors opened even wider. Jael didn't move an inch, remaining rooted in the spot.

Suddenly, he swore even before the figure walked through the huge doors. He could apparently already tell who it was.

"Who is it?" Louis asked.

Jael cussed. "Why tell you and ruin her surprise?"
