"Oh my gosh! Look, he... he's here. At the restaurant", tiny squeals came from the last table on the first row.
"Who is here?", the girl across asked. She was sharing the table with her friend.
"Damn, be quiet! Let's just get out of here".
"But we aren't done eating", her friend was still reluctant to leave.
"The guy at the hotel", she finally broke out.
"Ohh", her friend startled, wrapping up her food. "I'm leaving on the condition that you'll pay for my barely touched food", she swayed her head side-by-side.
"Deal", she answered her friend and they took to their heels.
Not until she was stopped by someone...
"Hey, blondie! You dropped your keys... ", a deep masculine voice came from behind. It was that of Adrian. She was literally trying to escape his presence, but it was too late already.
She wasn't fast enough as her friend who was already out of the building in the twinkle of an eye. Her face flushed with embarrassment, realizing he had just caught her running away.
Maybe, he didn't see it that way.
"Ohh, thank yo... you", her voice broke apart as she turned around. She was face-to-face with her baby's daddy. She was surprised that he didn't even pick it up or was she expecting a multi-billionaire CEO to kiss her ass?
She squatted to the ground and grabbed the keys hastily with plans to leave immediately.
His eyes squinted as he scanned her face, she looked quite familiar. "Please, wait!", he called out, drawing back her attention. She prayed he doesn't recognize her from that night.
"Have we met before?".
"Nuh... urh", she shook her head.
Doubts sprung up his inner mind. "Sure?".
"Mhmm", she nodded, attempting to leave for the second time, but his voice came up again. She was freaking out already.
"May I know your name, miss?", he inquired.
With her gaze been lowered to the ground, she replied audibly, "Aurora is my name".
"Do I need to tell you mine?", he asked. He really didn't know why he was asking too much. She was definitely not his class.
"Nah. You're popular, everyone knows you", she jokingly said, letting out a dry laugh.
He didn't even laugh, even if it meant being sarcastic.
"Okay. Bye, blondie", he said.
"The name is Aurora", she whispered inaudibly. Not like he cared to know though.
"Did you say something?", he asked, unsure if actually he heard right.
"No, I should get going", she blushed, embarrassingly.
He left the regular section and made his way to the VIP floor.
....
"Omg, Aurora! Does he remember you?".
"Please, tell me a fucking yes!".
"And yeah, what did he say to you?".
"Did you tell him about the baby, that you're carrying the future heiress to the company?".
Her bestfriend who seemed more excited than she was bombarded her with questions.
"Aurelia, stop it!", Aurora cried out, stomping her right foot hard. "This is public, remember–
Aurelia rolled her eyes over. "The walls have ears, I know", she helped her to complete her statement. She was really fond of her.
"Let's get a cab home. We'll talk about this later, please", Aurora begged.
"You'll tell me everything?", Aurelia asked.
"Pinky promise", she playfully stuck out her pinky finger and interlocked it with Aurelia's.
A random stranger could mistake them for twin sisters; their names rhymed, they shared same hair color and had fun dressing alike. Although, they had slight differences. Aurelia was too loud. Aurora was sneaky and cunning, always getting away with everything.
