I took the elevator to the lounge which still held mum, grandma, and bitter aunty Grace, I could see the cold shoulder each woman gave each other. "Hazel, leaving already?" Grandma asked lifting herself from the Davenport, "Yes, Alex's waiting outside.

"Oh, when will your father just accept his son-in-law so we can all leave happily? David is just so irritable." She said firmly. I know grandma used to be the queen of abusing the Wilsons, but if she could change just for my babies, then Dad could do the same. I hugged grandma, "I'm sure with time he'd learn to accept us."

"My love, please take good care of yourself." Mum got up too, "I've tried talking to your father too but....." "That's alright mummy, Dad loves me he'll eventually come around."

"Oh, so confident of her father's love." I giggled, "I love him too."
