Aláine's Point of View

Last night after Kristof's wolf had talked to mine, we celebrated our complete mating with more sex. I constantly marvelled at how often we could keep going. Not only that, but when I thought I would be hurting from all the use my sex was getting, it wasn't that bad. As soon as I became aroused again, it was like any pain and discomfort disappeared.

When we woke up in the morning, I couldn't believe my hunger. It was so bad that my tummy started complaining. Loudly.

"Bloody hell," I giggled embarrassingly.

"Welcome to werewolf life, my love," Kristof said. "We eat more because we burn it faster. We heal quicker, we are more powerful, and we are faster. That burns calories. You will need to make sure you eat well now."

"I get why I healed fast," I said, "but I have no scars. Surely that wouldn't happen."
