Chapter 18. Divination Pool
Whether the night in the forest was dark or not depended on the amount of moonlight…
Tonight was a little special. It was not until the second half of the night that the moon peeked out from the dark clouds and sprinkled a clear light.
The mercury-like light poured from the open window onto the ground, vaguely illuminating the furnishings in the room.
Under the dark moonlight, Shaya opened his eyes. The words that Deer had said during the day lingered in his mind.
"Aren't you tired?"
Hilga, who was next to him, suddenly opened his eyes.
"Is there something on your mind?" she asked.
"Can you even guess that?"
Shaya couldn't help but smile as she leaned over and kissed her on the forehead.
"There is indeed something on my mind…"
" The forest witches are experts at deciphering dreams and seeing through people's hearts. Do you want to tell me?"
