Capítulo 35: CHAPTER 35

Mr. Sani Yahaya came out from a building, going to where he parked his car. He came there to have a meeting with some people. His visiting was about the election and how to win in the future.
He was the one that drive himself down there. He didn't allow the driver to come with him. Investigation was still going on concerning his daughter that was killed while he too had continued with his political career.
He brought the car key out from his pocket as he got to the car. He pressed the button on the key, and all the car's doors unlocked. As he opened the door of the driver side, he saw a brown envelope on the seat. He looked round and looked at the envelope again.
"What is this?" He picked it up, felt it and decided to open it. He opened it and brought out a letter. He dropped the brown envelope on the seat, holding the letter with his two hands and started reading.
"WE BELIEVE YOU WON'T WANT TO LOSE ANY OF YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS AGAIN. SO STEP DOWN"
"YOUR DAUGHTER'S OWN IS ENOUGH FOR YOU, SO WE ADVISE YOU TO STEP DOWN NOW. CALL THE PRESS AND REPORTERS, LET EVERYONE KNOWS THAT YOU ARE STEPPING DOWN"
"Who sent this letter?" He asked himself. He looked round the environment suspiciously and looked at the letter again.
"An ordinary person can't enter this place, so who sent this letter? And how did he or she put the letter on the seat?" He looked at the car, thinking of how they succeeded to put the letter inside his car.
"This is shock!" He called one of the security guards there. The man replied him and running to where he was.
"Good day Sir" the security guard greeted.
"Who entered this place? Who did you see that come near my car?" Sani Yahaya asked loudly.
"Except from the politicians like you Sir, no other person is allowed to enter here. And for the second question, it was only those that parked their cars near you" the security man said.
"Is there any problem Sir?" he asked in cool tone, and looking at him. The security man noticed that he was disturbed.
"I found this. You know what, never mind" Mr. Sani Yahaya said loudly, and entered into the car. He put the letter on the other seat and closed the door. He started the car's engine and driving out. The security man returned back to his post.
One hour later. Mr. Sani Yahaya drove inside the compound of the party chairman's office. He just parked anyhow and got down from the car. He was holding the letter, and going inside. He didn't even reply the workers that were greeting him; he was just going straight to the party chairman's office.
Party chairman was in the office with Mr. Tee. It was the chairman that called him and it was because of what happened at the wedding of Mr. Sani Yahaya's daughter.
"I know Shadow well, this job was from him. The party that bought him, will be the one using him" Mr. Tee said in cool tone.
"I want to fish out who Shadow is in person, remove him out from the masquerade wear and show out his face before I kill him"
"If you know he is the one, then do that—"Party chairman was talking while they saw the door opened and Mr. Sani Yahaya entered.
"Sani Yahaya, welcome" Party chairman said.
"Good day, Sir. I found this in my car as I wanted to enter into my car at house of assembly" Mr. Sani Yahaya dropped the letter on the table and he sat down a chair at the front of the chairman.
"A letter" the party chairman said, and he picked it up. He stretched it, holding it with his two hands and reading it. He was shocked to see what was inside it.
"This is what I am saying, Tee" Party chairman said loudly and pointing the letter at him. Mr. Tee collected it and reading it.
"Telling you to step down for them" Mr. Tee said.
"Who put the latter in your car?" Party chairman asked.
"I have no idea. I don't even know how they put the letter inside my car" Mr. Sani Yahaya replied gently.
"What of your driver? He must have something to say to this" Mr. Tee asked.
"I went there alone. I drove myself" the party chairman tapping his figures on the table and thinking of what to do.
"My job is to make sure you are fine and protected. Before anything, I am calling my boys to go and stay in your house and look after your family" Mr. Tee said and stood up. He started making a phone call, and walking away from them.
"Chairman, what are we going to do now?" Mr. Sani Yahaya asked.
"They want you to call the press and reporters right. We will call them and we will do live for them to see" Chairman carried the intercom and dialing a number.
"And are you saying I will step down?" Mr. Sani Yahaya asked.
"Hello, call them at 'Our Nation' call reporters too and tell them that they should come to our office. We have public announcement to make"
"Do that right now" the old man said and dropped the intercom.
"Sir, am I going to step down?" Mr. Sani Yahaya asked.
"When we get to the beach, we will cross it. Let's be waiting for the press and reports" Party chairman said in cool tone. He busy tapping his figures on the table and thinking.

"I am tired, I am taking a break please" Riley said loudly and walking away from where she was shooting. They were shooting for a movie. Riley was acting while she stopped all of a suddenly and leaving the place.
"Ma Please, this is the second break you are having and time is going" the Director on the set said.
"I'm not here to work for you like a horse, please" Riley said with rude manner and left the place.
"She is the only problem I have here" The Director said loudly, and looking at her going.
Riley entered into the room given to her and her workers. She met Muhammad sitting on a chair and with his laptop as usual. He was busy typing and focused on it. She saw the other lady placed her head on the table.
"Hey, get me bottle water" Riley said to the lady as she sat down on the chair beside her.
"Hey! Hey!! Dare you sleeping? Are you here to sleep?" Riley shouted loudly and beat her hand on the table. Muhammad stopped what he was doing and looked at her.
"I am sorry ma, I'm not sleeping" the lady said with tears on her face. She was crying as she placed her head on the table.
"For days now, I have been watching you. You would just be looking dull and always thinking. Look at you now, you are crying. What is your problem, I want to know?" Riley asked loudly.
"Cat got your tongue? Speak up!"
"Ma, it's my boyfriend. He told me that he is not accepting the pregnancy not talk of the child. That he is not ready for marriage. If I want to have the child, I can but to get married he can't do that" the lady said.
"Is he out of his sense? Is he mad?" Riley said loudly with anger.
"He wants you to carry the pregnancy and being raising the child alone. Do you know the pain and suffering that is there as a single parent. Do you even know the affect it uses to have on the child?" the lady was just looking, didn't utter a word.
"Oh! This is what I hate most in my life. I was brought up by single mother, so I know what I am saying" Muhammad walked closed to them.
"That your so called boyfriend must be crazy. This is what I hate most!"
"You know what; we are going to that your boyfriend's house right now. I am going to arrest him. He must take care of his responsibility by force. Let's go" Riley carried her bag on the table. She was angry than the lady that owns the problem.
"Riley, shooting is still going on. You just have a break not that you have done" Muhammad said gently.
"This is important than anything. If they can't wait, refund their money. You, let's go" Riley said to the lady, passed beside Muhammad and leaving.
"Huu! Riley" Muhammad said gently and breaths out. He turned back and going to where the Director and others were.
