Leon felt his heart leap out of his chest when Ella made mention of Xia's name. The coldness in her voice and the way she abruptly ended the call instantly told him that there was fire on the mountain.

Throwing all cautions to the wind, and even offending some high net-worth clients, Leon abruptly stood up and speedily adjourned the meeting.

Before storming out of the room, he hastily asked Lily to reschedule the same meeting for the following day.
