While the Kages were having their little discourse, a few hours prior, something...or someone made an appearance on the battlefield - Uchiha Madara.
In light of this, the Six Kages unanimously decided to confront him together in order to minimize damage to the alliance.
And while this was happening, Shun and his family watched on, some in amusement, some uncaringly and one in panic.
The others aside, Izanagi couldn't possibly be still watching his woman go up against someone he knew a hundred percent she had no chance of matching in battle, not to mention winning.
In light of this, he made to leave the Castle and go help, but was stopped by Shun who smilingly told him to be calm as nothing wrong could happen.
"What do you mean nothing wrong could happen? Something will definitely happen and it won't be Madara being defeated." Izanagi roared but Shun shook his head.
"You have to understand that she's a Kage, whether you like it or not, this is her burden to carry. If you appear every time she needs saving, what's then the point?" Shun asked.
"Pops is right, brother. Let her fight. You going now would be spitting on her conviction. I mean, look at her face...their faces. They've already resolved to go down fighting if necessary." Izanami added.
"And you have to understand why they are fighting in the first place...They don't want to live in a dream. She in particular, could be fighting even more for that." Fenrir added. "So be calm. Your father won't watch her die."
Hearing this, Shun's eyes twitched as in truth, he had no thoughts of even helping her. In his sensory range, he could already feel that Orochimaru had already Reanimated the people he needed Reanimated.
In a few minutes...an hour tops, Orochimaru will arrive at this particular battleground where the six could possibly be near death.
'Hmm, now that I think about it, isn't now the best time to let Jiraiya out? Imagine their shock..?' Shun thought with a mischievous smile.
"See? That smile should tell you a lot." Fenrir said pointedly, causing Izanagi to calm down a little.
"But seriously though, you've been alive for so long and you're this emotional...tch." Shun said scornfully. "You knew she wasn't strong enough and you made no effort in strengthening her."
"She doesn't like receiving help...she is strong willed that way." Izanagi said with a wry and bitter smile.
"I see. She's quite the woman. Your mothers will like her." Shun said.
"Will they be coming back during this war?" Izanami asked with a bright light in her eyes.
"Of course, when Kaguya descends, so will they." Shun said.
"Kaguya...huh?"
"Yes, Kaguya, by the way, she's one of your mothers now so..."
"We already knew pops, I'm just wondering how you managed it." Izanami said with a snicker.
"You already knew? Did Fenrir snitch?"
"What?! Father I would never!" Fenrir said in a raised voice.
"What are you talking about? Didn't you mention it when you were regaling us in the tales of your escapades in the outer world?" Izanagi asked, causing Fenrir to stiffen.
"Well, since you already know then that's fine... Oh look, Tsunade really is as strong as I imagined her to be." Shun said.
In the screen in front of them, the battle between the Kages had begun, and with a thunderous roar, Tsunade charged towards Madara, her fists wreathed in a blazing aura of chakra.
The ground quaked beneath her as she closed the distance with breathtaking speed, her eyes blazing with a fierce light. In a single, fluid motion, she unleashed a devastating punch aimed directly at the heart of Madara's Susanno.
The impact was like a thunderbolt, sending shockwaves rippling through the air with bone-shaking force and with a deafening crack, the surface of Madara's Susanno splintered and fractured, fissures spreading like wildfire across its once-impenetrable armor.
A collective gasp escaped the lips of the onlookers as they beheld the sight before them, their eyes widening in disbelief.
"Oh? Impressive. As expected of the Hokage. To be able to crack my Susanno, not even Hashirama could do that with a punch." Madara said in praise before the crack healed and he said. "But that's all you'll be able to do."
As Madara's gaze locked onto Tsunade, the air crackled with anticipation, the tension palpable as both combatants prepared for the clash that was about to unfold.
With a swift motion, Tsunade leaped back, putting some distance between herself and Madara, her mind racing as she assessed her options.
"To think that the Susanoo would be this hard. As expected of the ultimate defense." Tsunade said while catching her breath.
As the crack spread across the surface of his Susanno healed, Madara responded with his own techniques. With a swift hand seal, he unleashed the [Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique], conjuring a massive ball of fire that hurtled towards Tsunade with blistering speed.
The intense heat threatened to engulf her, but Mei Terumi intervened, using her [Boil Release: Scalding Steam Technique] to create a barrier of scorching mist that absorbed the brunt of the flames, protecting Tsunade from harm.
At the same time, Mei unleashed a torrent of scalding hot steam, enveloping Madara in a sweltering haze that threatened to overwhelm his senses.
Ohnoki followed suit, his Earth Release techniques shattering the ground beneath Madara's feet, creating jagged spikes of earth that threatened to impale him from below.
Gaara, sensing an opening, manipulated the sand around him with precision, sending waves of crushing force crashing down upon Madara from all sides.
A, the Fourth Raikage, surged forward with blinding speed, his Lightning Release techniques crackling with raw power as he aimed to pierce through Madara's defenses with lightning-fast strikes.
As for Kaito, he just stood back and watched the Kages attack. The reason wasn't because he didn't want to attack, but he realized the reality of things...
All this was meaningless in the face of True power.
As though to prove Kaito's thoughts right, Madara's response was swift and decisive. With a casual flick of his wrist, he unleashed his signature technique, the [Fire Release: Great Fire Annihilation], creating a wall of flame that surged towards the Kages with unstoppable force.
The intense heat and ferocity of the attack caught the Kages off guard, forcing them to scatter and evade as the flames engulfed the battlefield. Tsunade gritted her teeth as she felt the blistering heat searing her skin, her resolve faltering for a moment in the face of such overwhelming power.
In her Hundred Seals Released State, she didn't have access to her Ninjutsus as all her chakra were being channeled to pure physical strength and healing.
But just as it seemed that all hope was lost, Gaara stepped forward, the Sands previously meant to crush Madara were gathered and used to unleash his [Ultimate defense: Shield of Sand], creating a massive barrier of sand that protected both he and the Hokage from the full force of Madara's attack.
Meanwhile, Mei Terumi countered with her own technique, the [Lava Release: Melting Apparition Technique], conjuring molten lava that surged towards Madara with scorching intensity. The combination of fire and lava created a deadly inferno that threatened to consume everything in its path.
But Madara was not so easily defeated. With a cold, calculating gaze, he activated his [Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan], his eyes ablaze with power as a sword formed in his hand. With a casual slash, he destroyed the incoming lava, however the energy of the swipe didn't stop there.
With lethal intensity, it continued further into the distance and finally stopped after bisecting a mountain a few distance away.
"Impossible..." Ohnoki muttered to himself. "That's not even the full body Susanno. How did Lord First manage against this monster?"
But Madara didn't stop there, facing the Kages, he continued his onslaught. Each blow slashing through the air with lethal precision.
As the Kages struggled to defend against Madara's onslaught, Ohnoki stepped forward, his eyes narrowing in determination. With a swift hand seal, he unleashed his most powerful technique, the [Particle Style: Atomic Dismantling Jutsu], creating a devastating blast of atomic energy that surged towards Madara with unstoppable force.
As the blast of atomic energy hurtled towards him, Madara's eyes gleamed with anticipation. The ethereal armor manifested around him in a flash of deep blue light. The atomic blast collided with the Susanoo, sending shockwaves rippling through the air with bone-shaking force.
But Madara's defenses held strong, the Susanoo absorbing the full force of the attack without faltering. With a cold, calculating gaze, Madara turned his attention towards Ohnoki, his eyes ablaze with a fierce intensity.
"You dare challenge me with such feeble techniques?" Madara's voice echoed across the battlefield, his tone dripping with contempt. "You are nothing compared to the power of the Uchiha."
With a casual flick of his wrist, Madara unleashed a barrage of Susanoo arrows, each arrow streaking towards Ohnoki with lethal precision. The third Tsuchikage gritted his teeth as he summoned all of his strength, preparing to defend against the onslaught.
But before he could react, A, the Fourth Raikage, surged forward with blinding speed, his Lightning Release techniques crackling with raw power. With a thunderous roar, he intercepted the Susanoo arrows, deflecting them away from Ohnoki with lightning-fast reflexes.
"Tsuchikage, you owe me one!" A shouted as he continued to fend off the barrage of arrows, his muscles bulging with exertion.
Meanwhile, Tsunade gathered her strength, her eyes blazing with determination. With a fierce cry, she unleashed her ultimate technique, the [Creation Rebirth], channeling her chakra into pure physical strength and healing. The wounds on her body began to close, her muscles bulging with newfound power.
With renewed vigor, Tsunade charged towards Madara, her fists wreathed in a blazing aura of chakra. The ground quaked beneath her as she closed the distance with breathtaking speed, her eyes locked onto her opponent with unwavering resolve.
Madara's eyes narrowed as he watched Tsunade approach, a hint of admiration flickering in his gaze. Despite her injuries, she refused to back down, her spirit unbroken in the face of overwhelming odds.
"Don't do that again. You're so old yet stupid. I thought wisdom came with age." Kaito said as he approached the resting old Tsuchikage.
"Kaito! Why haven't you joined in yet? And how dare you question me?" Ohnoki raged at the man but Kaito merely sighed and turned to the battlefield.
"We're out of our depth here."
"So you're just going to give up?"
"Nah. I got intel that we'll be receiving appropriate reinforcement capable of taking care of this monster." Kaito said and folded his hands across his chest.
"So you're saying we aren't capable enough?" Ohnoki asked with a 'humph'
"Unfortunately...Yes." Kaito said. "Take your Particle Style for instance. That's your strongest Jutsu, but even you didn't know this...That Jutsu only works on Physical Matter."
"So? Isn't the Susanoo physical enough?"
"No. The Susanoo is Chakra given form. In the end, it's an energy construct, and as a technique formed of chakra, the Particle Style has no damage whatsoever on it."
"That's impossible. Then how did Lord first..?"
"Pure force against force. Neither of us here has the chakra capacity to go up against that man. Not even Tsunade, the strongest of us all."
"What?! How could that brat..-"
BOOM!
"I guess that answers your question." Kaito said as the effects of Tsunade's second punch shook the area.
"So what do you suggest?" Ohnoki asked.
"Nothing...we should just hold him back until reinforcements arrive. We're really out of our depths here." Kaito said. "or we could fight till we drop dead and the man keeps on living."
"That's absurd. You Hana bastards have had your peace cloud your senses. I'd rather die than allow this man walk free." Saying that, Ohnoki flew away to join in on the battle.
"Sigh...Well, years of peace and observation have proved that this will all be meaningless if certain people are here." Kaito said and continued watching the battle.
In truth, he wasn't a battle focused ninja in the first place. He was previously the captain of the Investigation Unit back in Hana who was appointed Kage based on his intelligence.
Like Hiruzen, he was proficient in all Elemental releases and had Chakra to back them up, but battle wasn't always his focus. He was more focused on knowing why things were.
Why fire was fire. Why water was water. Why earth was earth, why Lightning was lightning and why air was air.
Other than Yin and Yang release, he was proficient in all others. As for fighting someone on Madara's level, he could've done so without a second thought, but with Susanoo in the mix...he hadn't discovered all the secrets chakra held yet and the thought of dying wasn't all that intriguing.

"I must say though...this battle already is beyond what I thought..." Shun said. He had initially expected the battle to be the one sided beatdown Madara had given the Kages as in the Original timeline, but this.
"They're strong. The Hanakage though..." Izanagi said with a small smile.
"He's a conservative person let him be. A lot has changed and they'll need all the help they can get." Shun said.
In this timeline, Itachi didn't go looking for the caster of the Edo Tensei as he went with Sasuke, so it's expected that he'll go when the others go into battle.
At the rate things were going... The Kages would likely be dead before any of the Reanimated Kages arrive.
'And to make things interesting, Madara didn't even go all out against them like in the anime. He hasn't used Wood Release. Interesting.'

As the battle raged on, Kaito finally decided to join the fray. Tsunade, her resolve unwavering, continued to press the attack, her fists moving with blinding speed as she unleashed a barrage of devastating blows aimed at Madara's defenses.
Each strike carried the full force of her immense strength, threatening to shatter even the most formidable of barriers.
Meanwhile, Mei Terumi unleashed a torrent of scalding hot steam, enveloping Madara in a sweltering haze that threatened to dissolve his Susanno, much to the Uchiha's amazement.
As for Kaito, he focused on analyzing the battlefield, his keen intellect working overtime as he formulated a strategy to turn the tide of the battle in their favor.
Drawing upon his vast knowledge of chakra and elemental techniques, he began to assess the weaknesses in Madara's defenses, searching for any openings that could be exploited, and noticing the damage being caused by Mei's mist, an idea popped into his mind.
Suddenly, Madara's eyes glinted with malevolent intent as he unleashed a powerful onslaught of attacks in response to the Kages' relentless assault. With lightning-fast reflexes, he deflected Tsunade's blows with his Susanoo, his ethereal armor shimmering with otherworldly power.
But Tsunade refused to relent, her determination burning brighter than ever as she continued to press the attack. With a fierce cry, she unleashed her ultimate technique once more, channeling her chakra into pure physical strength as she charged towards Madara with breathtaking speed.
'She'll collapse soon.' Kaito surmised as he observed and tried to come up with a countermeasure.
As the two clashed, the air crackled with electricity, the ground trembling beneath their feet as their titanic struggle shook the very foundations of the battlefield.
With each blow, Tsunade pushed herself to the limit, her muscles bulging with exertion as she poured every ounce of her strength into the fight.
'But to think she's this strong. As expected of someone on the Level of Keshiro-dono.'
However, Madara was not so easily defeated. With a cold, calculating gaze, he countered Tsunade's attacks with lethal precision, his movements fluid and effortless as he effortlessly evaded her strikes. Then glancing at Ai, he cast a Genjutsu on the unsuspecting man, knocking him out of the battle.
As the battle intensified, Kaito's analytical mind went to work, assessing the situation and identifying potential weaknesses in Madara's defenses. With a calm and focused demeanor, he observed the flow of chakra on the battlefield, searching for any openings that could be exploited.
That was when he noticed the lack of one chakra. 'The Raikage!' looking around, he found the man standing on a spot with glazed eyes causing him to click his tongue.
'As expected of Madara though. Not even the lightning cloak could defend against his Genjutsu.' Kaito thought and flashed over to release the man.
"Huh? Kaito?"
"You were placed in a Genjutsu. Stay on your guard, he's not your average Uchiha." Kaito said that, and spotting a momentary lapse in Madara's concentration, Kaito seized the opportunity to act. With a swift hand seal, he created four clones who then unleashed a barrage of elemental techniques, each one aimed at disrupting Madara's control over his Susanoo.
Air, Fire, water, earth, and lightning erupted from Kaito and his clones, converging on Madara with deadly precision. The elemental onslaught caught Madara off guard, forcing him to divert his attention away from the Kages and towards the new threat.
With a swift motion, Madara countered Kaito's attacks, his Susanoo shimmering with ethereal energy as he deflected the elemental onslaught with ease.
Drawing upon his vast knowledge of chakra manipulation, Kaito unleashed a series of intricate jutsu, each one designed to exploit the weaknesses in Madara's defenses. Fireballs exploded in mid-air, sending waves of searing heat crashing towards Madara from all sides.
Water surged forth in a torrential deluge, threatening to engulf Madara in a watery grave. Earth trembled and shook beneath his feet, creating jagged spikes of rock that threatened to impale him from below. Lightning crackled and danced through the air, striking with blinding speed and precision.
Meanwhile, Tsunade and the other Kages continued to press the attack, their spirits undaunted in the face of overwhelming odds.
As the battle raged on, the battlefield became a maelstrom of elemental fury, with fire, water, earth, and lightning clashing in a spectacular display of power and skill. However...
"Sigh. I grow bored of this." Madara said as his Susanno was dispelled. One had to know that he had been fighting the Kages with nothing but a half body Susanno.
"Wha-?"
CLAP!
Madara clapped his hands together and then looked at the Kages. "If you all survive this, I'll take you seriously."
"You haven't been taking us seriously the whole time?" Ohnoki asked in dread as he felt..no. they all felt the massive amount of chakra he was gathering.
"That's funny. What adult would go full force when fighting mere children?" He asked, but not allowing the Kages time to react. He said. "[Mokuton: Konoha Shutsugen]" (Wood Style: Wood Forest Emergence)
