(A/n)- This was requested by . Go check them out! And the first part of her his will be hi sake place in seventh grade, per the request. Thanks for reading!

You laughed as you listened to your friends tell their funny tale. Nathaniel sat down next to you. You smiled at him.

"Hey, Nath! We were just talkI ng about the time that (Friend's/name) snorted milk through their nose." You went back to your lunch as the others conversed. Nathaniel laughed.

"I remember that. Milk was everywhere. It was a mess." He brought out his sketchbook and began sketching. You peeped over his shoulder to see what he was drawing.

It was a drawing of a beautiful girl. She had on a superhero costume and she was doing a power stance. The art was incredible.

"You just keep getting better and better at your art, Nathaniel. Please, don't ever give it up. I wish I had that talent." You watched him draw, a smile forming on his lips. "Thanks, (Y/n). Maybe one day I'll get good enough to draw a comic. I've always wanted to do that."

You looked at the superhero. "What's her name?" You inquired. Nathaniel shrugged his shoulders.

"I don't know. Why don't you name her?" He finished the detailing. You thought of a name.

"How about Ladybug?"

"Hey! Stop it!" You ran over to Nathaniel and kicked at the male that was tearing his sketchbook in half. You let out a growl and threatened him.

"If you don't leave, I'll make you. And you don't want that." The male snickered at you. "What is a measly girl like you gonna do? Call me a name?" Your blood boiled.

You ran your knee in his stomach and kicked him in the ribs. "Don't you ever underestimate me again! And stay again way from Nathaniel!" You took the torn pages and grabbed Nathaniel's hand.

"Don't worry, Nathaniel. I taught him a good lesson. And don't worry about your sketchbook. I'll get you another one." You led him inside and into the nurse's office. She checked his wounds out and you waited. Nathaniel turned to you.

"I'm sorry, (Y/n)."

You quirked an eyebrow. "What are you sorry for? That guy went after you. He had it coming." He let out a sigh.

"You shouldn't have to protect me. I'm not a child anymore." You grabbed his hand and looked him in the eyes. "I will always protect you, Nathaniel. You are my best friend. I will not stand by and let you get hurt by some bullies."

You smiled at the red-head, promising him to always be there for him.

You walked up the steps of Franciose Dupont. Nathaniel had told you to meet him in the art room. He had been spending a lot of time in there recently.

You walked inside and up the stairs, greeting your other friends as you passed. Nathaniel stood by the art room, clutching his sketchbook tightly in his arms. It was the one you had bought him after Chloe destroyed his other one.

You remembered seeing the horror on his face as she ripped it apsrt. You felt terrible. So you bought him another one.

"Hey, Nath!" you greeted. The boy perked up and blushed. "Hey, (Y/n). I wanted to show you something. Come on."

He pulled you inside and sat you down at his desk. There sat a boy with black hair and green eyes. He had on a red Hoodia and was writing in a journal. He looked up at you.

"This is Marc. He and I are going to be making a comic book together." You smiled at the male. "That's so cool! I'm (Y/n), Nathaniel's best friend. It's nice to meet you, Marc."

You looked at his journal and saw that it said "g". You gasped. Marc jumped and his the journal behind his arm.

"Can I read?" you asked, looking at the journal. "U-um, it's not ready yet. Besides, it's not even that good. Please, don't waste your time." You frowned at him.

"I'm sure that's not true! If you let me have a peak-" "N-no!...No, sorry. But I don't like for other to read my stories." He looked away.

You looked at Nathaniel. "Ok. Well, I'll leave y'all to it then. I'll be glad to read it when it is finished. I know the both of you will do great." You stood from your seat and made your way to the door.

"Thanks for showing me, Nathaniel. It was nice to meet you, Marc." And with that you walked out of the room and to the classroom. Marc sat with at guilty expression on his fsce.

Nathaniel stared at the door. "I'm sorry for running your friend off, Nathaniel. I didn't mean to. She seems really nice.," Marc apologized. Nathaniel shook his head.

"It's alright. We should get started."

And Nathaniel sat down, his heart aching. He had been feeling like this since school started. He was starting to get concerned.

"Nathaniel!" You called out to your friend, successfully grabbing his attention. Nathaniel paused in his tracks.

"(Y-Y/n)! What are you doing here?- I mean what are you up to?- I mean-" You cut him off. "Haha, silly. I'm just running around this school searching for my best friend. I'm guessing you were on your way to the art room again?"

He nodded his head bashfully. His heart was racing so fast he thought he would pass out. It suddenly became hard to breathe.

What was this? Was he sick? It wouldn't go away.

Every time he was around you, or even thought about you, his heart would pound and his chest tightened. He didn't understand. It was like you were putting him under a spell that made him weak at his knees.

He needed to get to the art room. "I-I should be going. Marc is waiting for me and he needs me to f-finish the last scene." You frowned.

"Ok. Well, if you need any help or just want to talk, I'll be in the library. See you," you said, making your way down the stairs and into the library. Nathaniel arched your fading form. He let out a breath of relief.

Nathaniel made his way to the art room. Marc sat writing in his journal. He took the vacant seat next to him.

"Hey, Marc. Ready to wrap this up?"

Nathaniel sighed as he dragged his pencil across the page. He had ran out of inspiration. He sat I n his seat, thinking of things to draw.

Suddenly you walked into the room. Nathaniel's heart pounded. Something sounded in his mind.

The thought made Nathaniel blush. You took your seat in front of him. Nathaniel stared at your (H/l) tresses.

Why was he feeling this way? It only ever happened around you. Nathaniel looked down to see his hand tapping his sketchbook.

Nathaniel's eyes widened. "What?" he asked aloud. You turned your head.

"What was that, Nathaniel?" you asked, blinking. The male shook his head. "I-it's nothing!"

Nathaniel shook his head. He looked back down at his sketchbook.

And suddenly he had inspiration.

Nathaniel smiled at the work. Marc sat next to him, eying the book in admiration. "We did it, Marc. Our very first comic."

Marc smiled even wider. "Thanks for working with me Nate. You've helped me open up about my writing, and now we're publishing our very first comic." The pair exchanged a few more words before Nathaniel caught sight of your form standing outside of the art room.

e, he thought. "Marc, I have something to do. I'll be back in a minute." He took his leave and left the room.

You stood there waiting for Nathaniel.  He told you to wait for him at the art room. You wondered what was going on.

Suddenly Nathaniel appeared at the door. "(Y-Y/n), hey." He had a book in his hands.

You smiled at him. "Hey, what's up? I got your text. You have a surprise for me?" He nodded his head and shoved the book in your hands.

You looked at the the title. It read, "". You quirked an eyebrow at it and flipped to the first page.

You felt your cheeks heat up. "N-Nathaniel-" He cut you off with a kiss.

It was sweet, but short. Nathaniel smiled at you. You blushed.

"I love you, (Y/n)."

You stared wide-eyed at the boy. He looked at you expectantly.  You smiled softly.

"I love you too, my little artist."
