Capítulo 6: i will always protect you, i promise.
Lena parked by L-corp. You could see how determined she was to help Kara it was written all over her face.
The Luthor and the Super looked at each other and smiled, lena shook her head slightly.
"What?" Kara asked tilting her head.
"Nothing, it's just. I still cannot believe you are supergirl." Lena said softly smiling.
Kara looked into Lena's eyes and before thinking she said, "when you told me that I am your hero, i gave myself a promised that I would keep you safe, that I will always protect you, and always catch you when you get pushed off a building.." Kara looked deep into Lena's bright emerald eyes. "Lena Luthor, I will never let anything harm you, I swear to Rao." She said seriously.
Lena blushed. (YES KARA JUST MADE LENA BLUSH) she looked down and smiled as her cheeks turned a shade of red. "Thankyou, Kara." She said twiddling with her fingers still smiling.
Kara didnt know why she did it but she kissed her cheek really fast and kept her face there instantly regretting it.
Lena's eyes were wide and she turned to face Kara, their faces only a few inches apart. They were both wide eyed and glanced at each other lips that were so close.
Before anything more happened Kara quickly moved away back in her seat bumping her head on the ceiling and said "That's what friends are for." And nervously chuckled.
Lena was confused as to what just happened.
They entered L-corp and walked into Lena's lab. Kara sat down and watched Lena study the purple krpytonite (they dont know its purple kryotinite yet.)
"I'm bored." Kara pouted spinning on a wheel chair.
Lena raised her eyebrow looking at the super. "And I am Lena Luthor, pleased to meet you. There is a fridge over there." She said pointing across the room.
Kara's eyes lit up and she sped over to the fridge and opened the freezer beside it pulling out the rocky road ice cream and grabbed a spoon and started eating out of the tub while humming and spinning in her chair.
That all happened in two seconds with Kara's super speed. Lena held in a laugh and just playfully rolled her eyes at the Super who is now lost in her own little world and she continued working.
"Are you done yet?" Kara asked impatiently. She had eaten all of Lena's food and was now bored.
Lena started packing her stuff. "Yes actually, this, thing is not from earth."
"Where's it from?" Kara asked curiously.
"Well I have studied krpytonite before, and this shares the same chemical DNA, not exactly but I believe it's from Krypton. Some sort of purple krpytonite."
Kara's eyes widened. She knew something..
"What is it?" Lena asked confused.
"U-um nothing.. just uh, it's cool its from my planet." Kara lied.
Lena looked at Kara suspiciously but decided to let it ago. "Well it's getting late, wanna head home?" Lena asked.
"Umm... yea sure " kara answered. But when lena fell asleep she needed to go somewhere.. she needed to know if she is right.. and if she is, everything would change...
