Capítulo 4: Your Heartbeat
Lena and Kara sat on the big couch eating popcorn in the dark watching movies, sharing laughs, gazing into eachothers eyes and over all just having a good time.
Neither of them knew how it happened but Lena was in karas arms leaning against her chest while they watched twilight. "Your heart beat is loud, and very hard." Lena looked worriedly at the blushing super.
"My heart beat is always like that." she smiled down at the Luthor. In all honesty Lena just made her nervous.
When the movie got to the part of Edward showing is true identity Lena slowly inhaled then said, "Supergirl..." quietly.. Her gaze stayed on the TV.
The super responded watching this scene intently , "yes?"... No response, Kara frowned wondering what her friend was going to say.
Then surprisingly Lena answered, "Who are you?" she asked quietly as her breaths were slow and steady waiting for a response.
Kara knew what she meant but didn't know how to reply. Kara grew very anxious thinking of what to say, then her mouth just took over her thoughts. "You know who I am.." she said almost coming out in a whisper.
Lena slowly sat up getting eye level with the super and gazed in her (or his idk) ocean blue orbs. She knew who those orbs belonged to, her best friend, who she accidently fell in love with. "Do i?" she asked, her voice gentle.
Kara got lost in her emerald eyes memorizing the patterns before she slowly and nervously gave the Luthor a nod. "You do.."
..."Do you love me." Lena asked. She knew very well her best friend Kara danvers was the only person who loved her.
Kara seemed a little taken aback by that question not knowing how to respond. She slowly nodded again gulping, afraid Lena would hate her for keeping such a big part of herself a secret. "I do.. I listen to your heart beat 50% of my day for comfort, knowing you are ok, I memorized it and I know when your happy, sad, laughing, anxious, stressed, crying.. And I know your heart beat when you are around me, the other half of me.. Which im guessing, is love. " the super said slowly her gaze still on her friend.
It took Lena a few moments to know what to say before she spoke. "What is my heart beat now." she asked quietly.
"The one only reserved for me.." her sparkling blue eyes whatches lenas face for any sign of anger, not spotting it.
Lena tilted her head slightly, "K... Kara?" she questioned anxious for the supers responce.
"..hey." she smiled.
"Hey.." she was right, her best friend, is Supergirl.
"I didn't tell you for your own saftey." Kara ensured her "Im so s-
Lena interuppted her by pressing her finger against her best friends lips smiling knowingly. "Its ok, I understand." she smiled comforting her friend. Kara smiled the exitment on her face easily spotted.
Kara jumped up and squealed in a manly voice then chuckled. "Ide like my body and voice back, but anyways im so excited to not have to hide anything from you anymore, I can just be 100% me!" she smiled her remarkably white teeth almost blinding the Luthor.
"I will get you back to your normal self in no time, I promise, also who thought glasses and a hair tie could change someone's appearene so much!" she laughed feeling dumb earning a chuckle from Kara. " And im looking forward to you being able to be 100% yourself with me too." she scrunched her nose up cutely as her dimples appear.
"We can talk more about this tommorow but right now im tired, can we just lay down on the couch and finish the movie?" a slight pout appeared on her lips.
Lena chuckled and obliged laying down, Kara layed down too behind Lena against the couch. Kara couldn't see but Lena blushed at their closeness as did the super who was spooning the Luthor with her arm wrapped around her waiste.
When Kara grew tired she nuzzled her face in lenas neck closing her eyes, her lips barely touching her neck as warm breath slowing hit the luthors ear making her shiver silently.
And there they fell asleep.
